Anaskie:in places like Osisioma and Isiala ngwa people didn't even get to sell their votes. They didn't vote at all. If the people sit and watch this impunity without putting up a fight aainst TA and his thugs, then they better not disturb the rest of us for the next 4 years. I haven't been to that State in 13 years and it's not likely to change if the status quo remains 1 Like |

The INEC returning officer should be held down in Abia if he allows PDP intimidate him. He must remain in Abia for the next 4 yrs and enjoy the dividends of democracy he imposed on Abians. |

Iceathome: If the 3 LGA result is accepted by INEC, then its a win for PDP. It will result in PDP 9 against APGA 8 and the population of voters in those rigged LA is much, with the 100% turnout PDP insinuates while rigging. 1 Like |

akthedream: Why can't you just spend sometime to understand SE politics. Its not the party we follow but the candidate. If you do not follow it well, you will think its the party we follow. Can't you see that among the 5 SE states, its only Enugu and Ebonyi that are still firmly PDP...Because the PDP governors performed. Imo is APC. Rochas will definitely win...He performed. Anambra is still APGA because the immediate past governor did a good job for 8 years and they put up a good candidate... Obiano Abia is going to APGA simply because PDP has not performed and people see Otti as a good candidate... It is as simple as that. Remember Otti was in PDP and a lot Abians home and aroad were rooting for him. even when he was in PDP. He decamped to APGA only when he did not get the ticket. The idea from Orji knowing that he is a formidable candidate was to bring him into PDP since he was going to contest and then frustrate him and silence him. When he moved to APGA people simply followed him. If moved to APC or remained in PDP we would have still followed him than you would come to say we voted PDP of APC when infact we are following the best candidate. Never think you understand it fully. A simplistic assumption about the situation doesn’t help at times in the SE because it is very complex but what I tell you is the current Abia situation. AS FOR T.A. ORJI AND HIS CREW. JEGA IS THEIR NEMESIS. HE HAS MADE IT MORE DIFFICULT FOR ANY RIGGED RESULT TO STAND. PDP WILL GO DOWN IN ABIA. THIS RESULT AND THAT OF IMO (IF THE JIGGING AND REJIGGING LEADS TO A PDP VICTORY) CANNOT STAND!!! TRIBUNAL THINGS 1 Like |

austinkenneth:I don't agree with every thing you put up there..but I really admire how you put up those words in a respectful ways...Anyway,I was refering to Igbos trying to force Jimi Agbaje on we lagosian because he is from Pdp...but the fact still remain that majority of Igbos just hate Apc for no reason...if you say no,how can you explain how Ngige was voted out of office?..are you telling me that he wasn't performing? 1 Like |

Abia guber re-run holds April 25 The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Abia state has scheduled the governorship re-run for the state for the 25th of April The re-run is to take place in the affected polling units and wards in 9 local government areas of the state. The local government areas affected are; Aba North, Aba South, Bende, Isiala Ngwa South, Isiala Ngwa North, Umuahia South, Bende, Arochukwu, Ohafia and Osisioma. In a similar vein, Saturday the 18th of April has been slated for a re-run into the Umuahia North state constituency which is the only house of assembly election left for INEC to make the result public. It will be held in three wards in Umuahia North state constituency, which has not been concluded. These re runs are due to the inconclusive elections in the affected areas, which has left the entire state in a political limbo since the governorship election was held last weekend. |
