From her comment she is the type who will not attempt anything without her parents consent so what do you expect the guy to do? Wait till she comes crying that she has accepted somebody the parents introduce to her so the guy should move on because it can't work without her parents consent

Parental consent is very necessary. Just like you, i had a six years inter-tribal/religious relationship. We finally woke up to reality last month.

Sometimes, Love is not just enough. You have to listen to the wisdom from your heart. One day, you'll wake up and ask yourself how you got to this point, and by that time, you've lost your family.

I suggest you hang on and try to comvince your parents. Make them understand that you need their support in this next phase in your life. And be fervent in prayers. Remember what God did for Mary when Joseph decided to put her away. God can still speak to your parents the way he spoke to Joseph. The heart of the king is in his hands.
