Sorry to interupt? Abeg which skool? Cos I av a friend that has been battling with chm 202.. She has done the course more than 4 or 5 times. Now she is having another extra year after her real sets have graduated since 2012.

He would come to class with big question and we will use almost all the lecture period to solve one question with everybody looking like mumu.

OAU is the best and most exciting skool. No one ever regrets going there. What a school!

The National Youth Service Corps has announced that the
scheme has planned to mobilize about 220, 000 corps members
in the two batches of 2015.
Earlier in the year, the NYSC announced that there will only be
two batches this year as against the traditional three batches.
Batch A will hold in May 2015 and Batch B in September 2015.
The Scheme revealed that the rationale behind the decision was
to ensure the protection of corps members.
By calculation, this will mean the there will be an average of
110, 000 corps members per batch. This means there’ll be an
average of 2,972 corps members per state, a number that clearly
exceeds the carrying capacity of most NYSC camps.
NYSC has planned to mobilised about 220,000
corps members for 2015

In another development, the NYSC through her Director of
Planning Research and Statistics (DPRS) have disclosed that the
Scheme will likely operate two streams per batch during the
2015 Mobilization exercise.
This decision is based on the fact that the number of corps
members to be mobilized in 2015 are expected to exceed the
handling capacity of most orientation camps.
The disclosure came during a tweetmeet with the Director on
27th January 2015. While answering other questions, the DPRS
also stated that as many corps members as possible will be
accommodated in 2015 to make up for the non-existence of
Batch C and the postponement of Batch A 2015 to May.
With the dual batch method in place, each orientation camp is
expected to carry about 1486 corps members per stream in
2015.

Meeting for LASU Graduating students

With due humility, the Students' Union of LASU wishes to inform all graduating students of LASU that there will be a meeting with the Students' Union, the University Registrar and the graduating students so as for the registrar to update the students on how they will collect their notification of results and any other issues attached to their Youth service, and also find a lasting solution to how the crisis on campus will not affect the graduating students.
The meeting is organised by the Students' Union of Lasu, which is scheduled to hold today 13th April, 2015 at S L Edu Hall by 3:00pm.
We urge all our graduating students to be available so that they can ask questions from the registrar.
Please be punctual and tell others.

Resumption Date
This is to inform all LASUites that the State Govt announced recess on our campus because they envisaged post election crisis by some elements.
We have been assured that, if after the election there is no post election violence, the school will be re-opened for the continuance of academic and commercial activities.
We urge all LASUites to stay calm as the Students' Union is on the matter and promise that the school will be re-opened very soon.
NB: Lasu Staffs are not on strike, Govt only announced recess.
