Amaechi Joins The Long Line Of Political Office Seekers In Abuja. by jazzydee: 8:52pm On Apr 13, 2015 |
After being rendered politically useless in the rivers state politics by Nyesom Wike in the just concluded presidential and guber elections in rivers state, the disgraced outgoing governor of rivers state mr Amaechi has been forced to begin packing his belongings for his upcoming journey to Abuja to join other political office seekers knocking on Buharis door for positions. Amaechi is about to port to Abuja where he will be given lesson 101 in Abuja politics which is quite different from what he is was used to rivers state where he was lord and master. In Abuja he will be under authority of higher boss and will fight for relevance among many contending factors and persons. what is unclear is how a person of Amaechi's bossy and dictatorial attitude of "if not my way then the highway" will fit into Abuja political scene which has a lot to do with horse trading( give and take),teamwork and tolerance of other people opinions and differences A person with Amaechi penchant for betrayal, grudge bearing, emotional immaturity, and inability to resolve political crisis/ difference in opinion may very likely not survive the brutal abuja competitive political atmosphere. But it is going to be interesting to see how the "Lion of Ubima" who has been tamed into a "house pet kitty of Ubima" by wike, will navigate the landscape of Abuja politics, what we will be watching out for will include: 1) what his 30 pieces of silver (political office) will be? 2) what he will do with those 30 pieces of silver when he gets it? 3) will he accept the 30 pieces he will be handed or will he reject it and ask for more? etc You are free to add/speculate on what you think Amaechi's next step will be, for new series captioned -the Traitor's watch has just began. the case of rivers and amaechi is like the case of jews and moses. the jews rejected moses and his god and by the time they tasted the goodies of other gods, they realised too late that they have been sold a dummy! they called on moses and his god to rescue them but it was already too late for them and they suffered 40 years of retrogression. Rivers people will in no distant time seek for amaechi and they will not find him cause he will be busy working towards the greater good of nigeria - and their governor and his jesus of okrika will take them 50 years backward. in all the scenario, amaechi will be an all time winner and may likely be the next president from that region. 8 Likes |

Bugatie:LOL Amaechi is an anathema in rivers state politics, any attempt to bring him back to politics in rivers will be resisted by the over one million voters that voted against him and his party. He betrayed his mentor and benefactor former gov. Odili, he betrayed his brother and in-law GEJ, Will anyone be surprised when he betrays buhari? 5 Likes 1 Share |

Go and write it down, Amechi will decide what happen in Niger-Delta as far as this regime is concern when it comes to Ministerial position, development or whatever from the Federal Government. And trust him, he will lord it over them. 13 Likes |

ireneidiva:The Split in the gov. forum was as a result of Amaechi's "If not my way then the Highway" philosophy of Amaechi, his tenure was over it was time to elect another governor from the north for that position since he had already filled the southern slot for 4 years, And as usual Amaechi choose the highway instead of equity. This is one of the problems amaechi will have in Abuja, He does not know how to give and take, he is a dictator. this will make watching him in Abuja more fun. 3 Likes |

The sad reality for him is the complete lack of trust, the incoming powers in Abuja have for him. Nobody places their trust on a character like Amaechi. The APC leaders know, he is a man ready to sell them out at the turn of a kobo, so they wll keep close eyes on him. His actions in River State are an eye opener for them. He might end up as an ambassador to some country. 9 Likes 5 Shares |

Pebcak:With the Niger Delta intact in the hands of the PDP Buhari would have no choice than to listen to the Governors from that region to ensure a smooth run of his administration and they might just decide that the lion of Ubima is their only problem.......how about that? stanech:Most of them are dumb ,they don't understand how the economy and the politics works here. When Amaechi was turning Goodluck into moi moi how many minsters from the Niger Delta nominated by Jonathan confronted him? Amaechi is powerless and would soon become useless - In fact with his antecedent there is no way that jagaban and Buhari will let him come in too close. He'll remain a political orphan unless he's ready to sell to the PDP a silver bullet that would bring down the APC in 2019 else he has no bargaining chip - His only hope of installing a stooge called Dakuku failed woefully as the political structure of the state has been hijacked by the real owners of the state. Nyesom Wike and those sons of Rivers State did a nice job out there. Amaechi.....NTOI 6 Likes 2 Shares

Sports Minister, Dr. Tammy Danagogo reacts to the falsehood being spread by Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Ibim Semenitari Re: Unleashing terror on Kalabari voters - Amaechi's failed bid to do so in Abonnema My attention has been drawn to the fact that Governor Amaechi, in his usual style of brazenly subverting truth and creating fictitious scenerios to cover up his crimes, has unleashed his hordes of dogs to deploy his huge propaganda machinery at the expense of Rivers peoples' funds to stand the truth on its head and tarnish my reputation in order to cover up his failed attempt to unleash terror on Abonnema to coerce my kiths and kin to vote the APC. The truth is that Amaechi hired and brought into Abonnema over 100 armed foreign thugs on Thursday night. My people woke up on Friday morning to notice the presence of these fierce looking strange thugs. God gave our youths the presence of mind to come together to go and ask the thugs who they were. This attracted the police and army in the local Government Area. Upon being convinced of the criminally deadly mission of these thugs, the army arrested them with their arms and detained them at the army base for further interrogation. While this was ongoing, many APC stalwarts like Amaechi's Commissioner for Urban Development - Mr Isobo Jack, and the Caretaker Chairman - Mr Fenibo M Jack made several representations and appeals to the army and police to release their thugs. When they failed, a call was put across to the Governor to come to their aid to release their thugs. To our shock and chagrin,in less than an hour, the Governor arrived the police Station and was shamelessly barking orders at the DPO and Army Officers to release his thugs immediately. This show of shame by the Governor right in front of the police station in the full public glare attracted passersby, youths and others who took exception to his dismal conduct and revolted and started booing and cursing him for bringing thugs to destroy our peaceful community. He was thus forced to run out of the police station and out of the community in shame. By the time I heard what was happening and rushed to the station, I only saw him driving off. This forced the youths to insist that the army must mount road block at the community entrance to conduct stop and search to stop arms and foreign thugs from entering our peaceful community. The effort of the army in the stop and search, yielded immense dividends as so many more foreign thugs were arrested with arms , while others turned back and ran away. The said thugs and their arms were taken away and detained at Bori Camp ( the PH Army Base). It is this divine intervention by God and the army that enabled the peaceful atmosphere that pervaded throughout the Saturday elections in Abonnema and frustrated Amaechi from causing his intended mayhem as he did in our neirbouring Buguma community. It is thus surprising that he rather went back to deploy his dogs to make this criminal attempt to kill the truth and tarnish my reputation. Jorussia: Pius Ayim was SFG, we have seen how much power he wielded There is nothing that Buhari will give amaechi that will compensate for his loss of rivers state political base, the respect of his people and the perks that comes with coming home to a warm welcome at PH airport with the state official standing at ovation, something Amaechi will never enjoy again but his fellow ex- governors whose political structures are intact at the state level will enjoy. And to add salt to injury, his former chief of staff his arc enemy has deflated him, and for the next four years he will have to live with that defeat! yikes that hurts real bad. 3 Likes |
