Before you pass insult,get the necessary education first.Nose piercing is customary to Indian Hindu since 16th century.Tattoo can be traced to Egypt in the second millenium BC.The only one that can be traced to black race is lip piercing.So virtually every other thing you practice today are borrowed from them

Without even conducting any research about the rest of Africa or even Nigeria, I know that Yorubas have had a longstanding custom of tattooing to mark various important occasions or for ethnic identification and religious rites. My grandmother, for example, has some swagged out tats from when she got married in the late 40s. So do a good number of older women in my family. It was a custom for centuries, but has been constantly eroded following the advent of European colonization and the enforcement of the middle-eastern religions (Islam & Christianity) on the local peoples.

Regarding piercings, here's a brief overview of some of the recorded different kinds among African tribes (yes, including nose piercings).

In conclusion, you're wrong. You're only saying tattoos and piercings are immoral because you have grown up in this post-colonial society, where your morals are now increasingly defined by one of the middle-eastern religions. If our forefathers had been strong enough to resist European encroachment, then maybe you wouldn't be here shitting on our indigenous culture, and glorifying the so-called "morals" that they have defined for you.

@timmy2409, thanks for lecturing those guys. It is honestly sad how foreign religion has totally brainwashed our people and seems to have erased the memories of our traditions and beliefs. Our people are now more interested in spreading jeweish and arabian fables than they are in reasearching and improving their knowledge about our own heritage. Most of the youths feel we learnt "everything" from the whites and are totally oblivious to the role Africans played in the civilisation of the planet as well as the role of the western world in obliterating our history.
