theV0ice: Thank you my brother. Are you Yoruba? Honestly I don't understand what people want to achieve with all these hatred. There are so many Igbo-Yoruba weddings being planned as I right, just move round on Saturday and see for yourself. Even amongst my friends, a lot of Igbo-Yoruba marriages and then some people are here writing rubbish. I wish you the best too. 7 Likes |

EUROBOMBER: Yes i am. married to an Igbo lady while my younger sister is married to an Igbo pastor. Where will i start the hatred from? Of course i might tend towards Yoruba sometimes due to 'kindred' spirit But i shudder at the thought of violence......how do i manage my interwoven family connections? My young friend, Amaka from Onitsha just got married to A yoruba guy and like you said, more and more are being planned even as we type. God bless you plenty bro. 4 Likes |

ThisMeansWAR: Even with the nonsense the Hausas are doing our people are still many there. We can hardly be intimidated, if you want to start attacking us in the west, you can bring it on, we will suck it in. And don't deceive yourself thinking that only Igbos are killed when the Hausas run wild, even Yorubas and MB Christians are also killed. I have travelled a lot and lived in parts of the North before. When they start their riots, even the Yoruba muslims flee to come and take refuge in their Sabon Garis where Southerners normally live. I personally know Yorubas peeps that have been killed by the Hausa, the only reason we take the highest casualties is because our people are spread all over Nigeria more than any other tribe. 4 Likes |

The fact that you guys think that there is any difference between you is what makes me laugh. Clinging to languages for which there is no alphabet, attached to impractical habits and imported religions makes you all the most foolish people on the planet. As much as I like Nigeria as a place I find the eagerness with which the people divide themselves very peculiar. To an outsider there is minimal difference between any of you - you yourselves have elected to self-divide for no discernible reason. Someone needs to explain to you guys the difference between a language and a dialect. I'm sick of hearing how there are 500 different languages in Nigeria because two villages 2 km apart might pronounce the word for 'goat' differently. If you people are serious about making progress you will find that you have no choice but to shed your many retrograde practices. The alternative is that you cling to your petty 'differences' and remain an exploited peoples. 17 Likes 7 Shares |

EUROBOMBER: Some Igbo people are now blaming Igbo people for starting "aggression"? I thought the aggression started when the Oba of Lagos provoked the igbo with his utterances. I love Igbo people but you my friend is one Igbo man I won't want to meet, I can see the word "coward" written on your forehead. 6 Likes |

you try by marrying a yoruba. nwoke agwugo na ala igbo. my teacher always told us not to associate or trust the yorubas. she gave us an e.g, she said as yorubas cap bend to any side you face it that's how there life is. she warn us that if yoruba man ask you to stay, run and he ask you to run, stay. that why if we call you (okpu yoruba) that's yoruba cap, in our school. People will start seeing you as a saboteur. 1 Like |

M17: You are REALLY a Tribalism Person. If you can read between the line, her write up sits on a fence. She meant well of us all and I commend her for that. As a Yoruba Man, I detest that Oba's statement. But that doesn't mean the Igbo should take us for granted. If we can have such Lagos Cabinet, Ministry & Govt Agencies combination in other states across Nigeria, by now "State Of Origin" disclosure would not be required on our cv anymore. Competence would play out and progress would be fostered. Lots of Igbo are working in Lagos State Internal Revenue Services (LIRS). Or you don't know that the Chief Economic Planner in Lagos is an Igbo. 3 Likes |

EUROBOMBER:of course there would still be ibos.. Everyone knows ibos like money more than their life, but the question is, will guys still have the mouth to start shouting no man's land if we reduce your population by just 50 percent in lagos? Although I know, you are not amongst those that shout lagos is no man's land but your words encourage them. Just thank your head that we are not savages. |

Alfamann: Idi.of Groundnut, cocoa have been developing Lagos before we shifted to oil. All states in Nigeria were alao developed with oil, why makes Lagos situation different. Also the last time I checked revenue generated from Lagos alone is sufficient to sustain Lagos, they do not need your oil money. You also cannot refer to your businesses in Lagos because if only you knew how insubstantial it is, you would sit tight, act like a true Nigerian and respect other people's ancestral land. 5 Likes |
