Does anyone serious conideration regarding religion, spirituality and morality when it comes to relationship? Is this even something you consider when evaluating if someone might be a good long-term material. Now am not advocating someone that neccesarilyd stays in church day and night, buh at keast being on the same page when it comes to how you conduct yourself. We all know practicing religion, or going to church does not make one automatically a good person.. If you do not share the same morality and spirituality..can you go ahead with the relationship?..how will you manage the system of checks and balance..most parents tend to stop their children from getting married to a person from a differnt religion, tribe.or to an extent a diiferent church..a catholic might face family issues trying to get married to a deeper life member..a muslim and christain marriage isn't something we hear all the time. Does spirituality,religion and morals matter to you when evaluating a potential long term relationship?. What are your thoughts? |

As for me, i see difference in religion as an hindrance to relationship. Let a Muslim marry a fellow Muslim and let a Christian marry a fellow Christian so as to avoid misunderstanding in the relationship. But if you feel you can cope with the differences and you won't regret engaging in such relationship, then goodluck to you. 1 Like |

Way way different, fragile and very important aspect of one's life. Marriage is not reason enough to start practicing a particular religion, you have to make that decision because you believe in that decision. |

Like someone said, it is the most important! It matters a lot. Some may say religion doesn't matter so long as we are okay and in love but I tell you that it does. I'm not saying its not possible to live peacefully with someone who isn't of the same faith with you. It is. But there's bound to be problems. "Two can't walk together except they agree".... I've seen a young lady from a Catholic family having issues with her Winners' husband....... They felt they'd thrash out this issue when they're joinef but its causing lots of probems. The lady's family strongly warn her against joining her husband in his church. You see, they're both Christians. |
