Answer to this is :
(11-1) +(13-3)+(15-5)=30

GBAM!!!!!

1. No instructions that subtractions/additions can not be done between the integers.

2. The question considers using only the integers listed. So long as they are in brackets

There are a couple of simple ways to solve this without breaking the rules:

1. Sum numbers [i]within [/i]the brackets first - e.g. [1+3]+[11]+[15]=30, or

2. Leave a bracket blank as the rules didn't say you must fill ALL the brackets - e.g. [ ]+[15]+[15]=30

It's simple base addition let's use base 9:
So 99+99+99=30
Those who have done computer science or electrical engineering will get it, for those who don't, we operate using base10, so for base9 let's all calculations such as 4+4=8 are the same as base10, but when it comes to calculations like
9+9= 20, it's just like base2 where
12+12=10.

You see in base9 the number 9 is the last number, so there's no 10, so when you add the last numbers together you get 20 for arithmetic convenience, how? well in base9 there are 10 numbers: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 so it'd expected that if you add the tenth number to itself it should give the twentieth number then if you add again it should give the thirtieth number.
In other words,
3 + 3 + 3=30 base 3
5 + 5 + 5=30 base 5
7 + 7 + 7=30 base 7
Rubbish!!!

After some serious brain racking, i resulted to challenge OP's question programmatically...

I built an algorithm that combines the given list of numbers in every possible way and compute the sum of the combination,
in one sentence...OP's question has no solution!! It defies the very laws of mathematics, there is no way you can add an odd number of odd numbers to produce an even number!!
C'ne pas possible!

You should first forget about repeating numbers, you will never get an answer that way.
There is no answer. You can never get an even number by adding three odd/ prime numbers. If you come up with an answer, i will hit my head against a wall.

1 is not a Prime Number.

All these numbers are odd! And there's no way the addition of 3 odd numbers will give you 30 which is an even number! No way; it is not possible.

Normal human beings understand that base 10 is implied here. Na only geeks, computer engineers, book worms, and their likes, wey dey make life complicated dey go from one base to the other. smiley
