I witnessed this during my stay in Rivers, I even took part in the building of a model primary school in Omuiheuchi-Aluu Ikwerre Local Government Area and saw numerous model primary schools across the state

Yes I was one of the ardent supporters of Amaechi until he decided to abandon a cause that will see the common people through and left on a personal vendetta and interests and that is not the true mark of a good leader.

When he started I praised him to high heavens until he forgot that we were a people that needed him for other purposes but he left for his own purpose.

Amaechi worked and had a great plan and I will always give it to him until he started leaving his Port Harcourt business to fight the man in Abuja and finally lured by these strange bedfellows in Alausa and he lost it and went rogue on every Rivers man that believed in him.

He lost it.
very stewpid post, he should fold his hands and allow Jonathan and his wife sit on his head because of a useless ethic based agenda? You need help just like many others who followed south south agenda blindly, it's is true that tribalism and ethnicity is worse than illiteracy. SMH

Now i see what pushed Amechi into blowing the rare chance his people had to be in power! He had a quarrel with his sister, to get at her,he set the entire rivers and region ablaze. Pej was wrong, this i know. Amechi, you should have handled this matter with maturity as a man would handle a woman. Should it be Gej that you are taking out,i would have been behind you,but still to an extent, that wouldnt have endangered the opportunity of the region. Now, how do you explain it to your people that you were taking your personal revenge and you have blown it all. Those who rate you a hero are outsiders who would still turn around and call you a betrayer someday and wouldnt have done what you did to their people. Amechi, you are right but wasnt wise.
You're not being honest, she did all that to him and you're still blaming him, where's the blame for her or for jonathan who couldn't call his wife to order. I'm from rivers, The truth is that the position was just to big for jonathan and his wife. They would've lost with or without amaechi. Remember when the wife insulted alamajiris, that angered the notherners hence lost their votes. The problem was that Jonathan Was too weak to control his overbearing wife And by a Large Extension, too weak to Control Nigeria. So Thats Not Amaechi's Fault To My Understanding. We Even have to be thankful amaechi saw this and made Rivers relevant in this dispensation and vote for dakuku. He's Actually a rivers hero and even had problems because rivers oil was taken to bayelsa, abia, etc. He could have hired people to also kill during the election but lost the election because he didn't want Rivers lives to be lost, I doubt same can be said of pdp in rivers State And you know that. Tell Me If I'm Wrong....

And the constant incessant 40k deduction from the salaries of civil servants is one of his great achievements.
The non payment of 3months pension to pensioners is also a great achievement
For completely turning creek road in town area into a death trap is an achievement
For the continous lying about opobo unity road and Dakuku still travels by sea is a great achievement
For dstroying houses in bundu area of port harcourt and rendering the poor homeless is an achievement
the list cld go on and on
for owing copers state alawee since 2011- 2015 is an achievement. That guy is a crook am sorry to say so but he is.

I don't need to read all of this, every post there is correct especially Agba-Ndele road i can testified that because that is where i serve (NYSC) The paramount ruler told us when we paid him a visit, he said the Corp member before us really suffer as no okada man will accept to take them down, the will stop at Omofo and Egamini. The corpers will have to walk down to Agba-Ndele in the swampy road, some corpers have to work their service from there to another place, thanks to Amaechi for coming to their aid, that we the present corpers we are enjoying.

Any one witness Odili regime and still complain of Amaechi is not sincere to Rivers state. Wike will be a complete replica of Odili regime, the era of thuggery, hoodlums and rape is back.

Well i am through with my service now, back in lagos chilling with my family.

Will Wike accept to pay the corpers alawee? Amaechi pay me #110k, can Wike do that?
which year did you serve? cos the last time I checked he is still I owing copers .

While some people are jubilant on the supposed victory of Wike at the last Rivers State governorship election I felt pained an surprised at such jubilation. For whoever that had been living in Portharcourt for years will be able to remember Wike and the famous Obio Akpor boys when he was the local government chairman. Petty business, commercial motor drivers, land developers and builders knows what they pass through during this era. Many were brutalised, beaten and injured just because of the aggressive ways these touts demands for revenue. Ameachi came in and put a stop to this madness. Who in Portharcourt that does not know the notorious land grabber by the name Dogo? He claimed and collected lands that does not belong to him and cause nightmare for those building houses. I know people that bought there lands twice from this criminal. It was Ameachi that out a stop to his criminality. Militant and criminals were sent packing from the garden city because of Ameachi insistence that he will never patronise criminals. Relative peace were enjoyed during this period until PEJ brought her meddling into the state affairs.
Most of the foot soldiers that works for Wike were touts and ex-militants which of course will be compensated for job well done. The only he will do this is by empowering them through revenue collection which will takes us back to the period of infamous Obio Akpor boys.
no be una say change is a constant thing in life? pls leave the man alone he has changed like our president buhari.

the monorail is 2.6 kilometer long. I gave you the link. go and check out the costs of monorails worldwide.

monorails are the best trasnportation means any government can think of. Just that they are very expensive.

Amaechi started something germane by building the monorails. No matter the amount of roads you contruct in PH, ph will always be congested because of the amoount of cars plying PH road. that was the reason for the monorails. YOu don't do the same thing over and over again and expect different results.

I hear you. That mono rail is only 0.0001& complete.....only about 20 standing slabs which is about 3 bustops drives. Mono rail that's is not even up to mile 1 bus-stop from Lagos Bus stop in town ph. For those of you us in Lagos, the said mono rail is only as long as from Festac 2nd gate (Agoju) to mile 2 Bus-stop and its only yet completed. only having standing slabs .....and so much money is been recorded in the books with next to nothing to show for it.
