My main concern is with regards to Drs letter from Mobap, how will I get it as per no fax services here since I will have to show it at my POE. Also, how would u rate mobap on a scale of 1 to 5?

Thanks

1.You mentioned somewhere about getting info on an extended stay kind of place,if you have the info can you pls share?

2. Is the pay 30days in advance condition of the hospital's self pay package sacrosanct cos I can't see myself making that window?

3. What's the way to get around the fax thing cos of dr's letter for poe.

Let me stop for now, questions still plenty. wink

Anyways, my baby was tested and she failed. We were asked to do a more extensive test and booked the appt for April 14th. This test cost $304 and they discovered that my daughter has hearing loss in both ears and will be needing hearing aids.

@Shelly23, so sorry to hear this..It is well with your baby and she will get better in jesus name. Don't give up and don't lose faith.

You can pay your bills/shop online and via pos as long as you don't exceed $50,000 a year.

If you want to use atm to withdraw cash, den you can only withdraw $300 in a day.

It's the new cbn directive for all banks.

Yeah but you can't pay a bill that is over $300 online or via POS per day that is the main problem its just annoying, Imagine you go to shop and just an item cost $400 how do you want to pay for that, that of the don't exceed $50,000 a year is fine by me. Any way my plan is hold cash and go with like 3 master cards simple.

You can pay a bill with your card over 300 dollars at a store or pos. You just can't withdraw over 300 dollars from the cash point.

daily international limit on POS is #1,000,000 ( or its foreign currency equivalent), Web transaction #500,000 or its equivalent. The $300 is for atm cash withdrawal.

If I speak to my doctor directly, I know he will be kind enough to tell his staff to give you the letter ( not promising anything, but will call today). I would rate mobap 5. There was no room for error, baby is tested and checked well, that was most important to me. I didn't need much from my Hospital box,You are given food 3 daily, your baby is given food if you want. Diapers, disposable pants and sanity towels for you. Body wash for baby and bodysuit for baby. The nurse filled my bag with those supply as I was leaving.

No....This is wrong.

The $300 limit is only for CASH withdrawal from an ATM.

You can buy/pay as much as you want online and via POS as long as you don't exceed $50,000 in a year. So if you spend $50,000 in day for example online or via POS, then you can't do an transaction online or via POS again for the rest of this year.

Hope you understand now.

Please do not decline the hearing test. I had my baby on March 1 and had every intention of declining the hearing test cos of the cost, but I was told that it is mandatory in the state of Florida and you can't decline (the state covers the cost).

Anyways, my baby was tested and she failed. We were asked to do a more extensive test and booked the appt for April 14th. This test cost $304 and they discovered that my daughter has hearing loss in both ears and will be needing hearing aids.

Although this isn't news any parent wants to hear, i'm grateful to God that we weren't given an option to decline the test. It's costing us a lot more than planned cos we have to see all these specialists, but thank God it was detected early enough.

I'm not sure what would've happened if we didn't do it and went back to Nigeria just like that.

So please, as you all plan for your birthing trips, make sure to budget for the hearing test. You never know what will happen.

Dearie, thanks alot for sharing. God is still in the business of miracles and healing. Your baby's hearing will be perfected in Jesus Name. AMEN.

No. Only naira debit cards. It's better people get domiciliary accounts. Rather than go with cash in bulk
