He should keep the nollywood rubbish off netflix abeg. angry

He shouldn't approach amazon prime instant either.

It will only diminish both brands as they are both paid subscription and it shouldn't be flooded with junk.

We are happy with the way netflix is bikonu!

If we need to watch his nollywood rubbish - we will go to youtube grin grin after all, it's free there grin

Netflix is rubbish too.

I deactivated my account because of their rubbish 1980s movies. Takes themm forever to update their TV shows' seasons.

This is huge....Like multi-billion dollar huge to all those in that line of businness and this goes to show the extent of growth Nollywood has undergone..we just need to improve its quality attract more global patronage...Imagine the British Royal Family viewing igbo-flavoured Nollywood via Netflix? Or The White House, a constant consumer of igbo produced movies??...Even in space, astronauts consuming igbo content via Netflix??....Netflix is beyond the lousy pedestal DSTV offers,we going places.

How on earth did you write this epistle without adding GEJ's role in this achievement? End time things.

Amazon Prime is better (movies wise) - I don't know if you guys have access to it in the US. They've got more variety of movies.

Netflix - I only signed up to watch "breaking bad" as everyone around me kept raving about it. I also enjoyed "orange is the new black" grin

I was going to cancel the subscription until they started "better call saul" - episodes are released weekly which are find very, very annoying.

I'm just waiting for the new season of "orange is the new black" before I cancel and move on to another provider.

Yea after deactivating Netflix, I signed up for Amazon prime. WAYYYYYYYYYYY better.

Breaking bad, Orange is the new Black and Once Upon a Time were my shows. cheesy Netflix takes months to upload current seasons which annoys the flake out of me.

I'll also sign up for HBO for the new season of Game of Thrones.

Bad belle is allowed.....Harnessing heavy igbo flavoured Nollywood with its gynomous potentials alongside Netflix is the start of something epic for both parties...even piracy.

Igbo flavored?.. You are a clown... Are you talking about nollywood Igbo or nollywood English? Nollywood English is filled with Yorubas and south south people.. With few igbos of cause.

I think Game of Thrones is available on amazon prime UK. I'm not sure though but I think I saw an ad on TV about it.

I agree. Amazon Prime is wayyyyy better. They've got truly HD movies. I found the quality of some of the movies and seasons on netflix pretty crap.

I will be porting back soon to amazon prime.

Nollywood English can be likened to igbo movies translated into English. Its themes, its story lines, actors, producers, even movie locations are all igbo flavoured....Imagine Queen Eliza watching Osuofia in London?? Now, with Netflix the igbo culture via nollywood can be broadcasted to a wider range of individuals or socio-groups and be better appreciated, the effects should be far reaching as Chinua Achebe' ENGLISH WRITTEN (not yoruba nor igbo) Things Fall Apart.....We are in exciting times..
