The apex Igbo sociocultural organization, Ohanaeze, has called on the President-Elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, to correct his earlier wrongs and to address the injustice meted to them during the Nigerian civil war immediately he assumes office on May 29th.

They stated that the Igbos rejected Buhari at the presidential election because of his negative track record with regards to Ndigbo during his tenure as military head of State. read more on http:///LISD

They should direct their grievous comments to Gowon who started it all.

Honestly,i hate all these nagging and victim mentality by Ohanaeze. While the southsouth are moving forward despite the loss of the presidential election of their own brother, Ohanaeze is still thinking back to 1967.

I'm an Igbo guy but these Igbo groups especially ohaneze make statements as if they r drunk (with respect to their ages). U didn't endorse him but u want him to address d injustice meted to us(whatever that means). If u supported Jonathan for 6years n he didn't c d importance of "addressing d injustice" plus u didn't compel him to do so, u r now expecting someone u worked against to do that? Common sense z really not common (with respect to their ages again)

These people will not stop confirming their foolishness. The more we want to move forward the more they want to remain in their past. Jonathan Ebele Azikwe Ojukwu who you consider your son has been power over the last 5 years and he still has more than a month to go; why not ask him for such compensation?
We have decided to move forward, if you are tired of Nigeria there is process for secession.
