Congratulations Kizluv, thought about you yesterday and wanted sending you to msg to ask howfar, until I saw ur post this morning. God bless and keep ur children..
My main concern is with regards to Drs letter from Mobap, how will I get it as per no fax services here since I will have to show it at my POE. Also, how would u rate mobap on a scale of 1 to 5?

Thanks

If you still need a fax number (281) 754-4268. Just let me know when it has been sent so I can get it and forward to your email. Cheers

If I speak to my doctor directly, I know he will be kind enough to tell his staff to give you the letter ( not promising anything, but will call today). I would rate mobap 5. There was no room for error, baby is tested and checked well, that was most important to me. I didn't need much from my Hospital box,You are given food 3 daily, your baby is given food if you want. Diapers, disposable pants and sanity towels for you. Body wash for baby and bodysuit for baby. The nurse filled my bag with those supply as I was leaving.

Hi house, for those who used Oakbend and Whmc did you get freebies from the hospital

So I called BA to add my infant to my ticket, after 40 mins on the phone , the operator said she had added the baby and gives me a PNR, and then tells me to call back in 72 hours to get the quote * confused *. Please I need your help o, I don't want "the more you see, the less you understand" to be my case.

As promised I called my doctors office, his staff kept saying he would call me back, so I decided to tell them what the iss was. I told them the price keeps going up. Maria the financial person said it's because they have had an influx of calls and that today alone they had 4 calls from Nigeria. I told them I recommended them to over 50 pregnant woman in a group and thats why they have the traffic. She said they had a meeting on Tuesday bla bla bla, I said was it possible for them to reduce the price for people I referred, she said if they do for some they have to do for all, but that they can give the option to do tranv ultrasound or abdominal (that's why it's 365, it's for both ) I didn't even do at all. No be small rack sha. The law of demand and supply done take over, msceeeew...
I will see the doctor on 27th and still push, I know it's late but it's the most I can do...

Hello mums and mum to be. I want to give back to the wonderful forum that impacted so much to me, though my story is coming in a bit late.
I delivered my baby girl last 2weeks at Parkview Community Hospital, Riverside California. I will tell you that l had a wonderful experience with the hospital and doctor respectively. The hospital bill for cash pay patient Normal delivery is $1150(1day), $2300(2days) and C Section $3950(3days) excluding epidural. Doctor's bill is $1700, laboratory test $200-250, pediatrician $300. Hearing test is free. I believe this ll help someone in d house.

@Kizluv,

Thanks for your effort, you've done your best and it is good enough for everyone on this thread. You gave them Free AD but since they've decided to price themselves out of the market for SELF PAY PATIENTS,they should have enough time for their insured patients.

I'm sure they are not aware that the attraction of MOBAP St louis (which is off the beaten track) is the DR's fees and if that is no longer an option, NLers will always find a way out....

@Chikacokpala,
Congrats and thanks for sharing (parroting Phema), you've unearthed another price that is almost akin to the old MHIS price regime.... thanks once again.

Hi everyone. Please I need your advice, I booked british airways to the us but I found out that i am to use American airline from heathrow to Dallas and Dallas to phoenix. I am wondering if I will be allowed the normal two checked in bags or if I will just be allowed one bag and made to pay for the other bag.
Please, your kind and urgent reply is needed. Thanks

If he has to take it to the US, then he might as well join you to the passport agency and append his signature na. That way, you wouldn't need the Consent form at all.

However, If he won't be coming to the US, he will post (not scan) the consent form to you after he must have notarised it at the Embassy. This can be done at any of these postage companies. DHL, FeDex etc.

Thanks Phema

You can use your visa to travel at anytime you wish i assume its a b1/b2 visa.Just to be on the safe side you can inform the embassy, because you might be asked at poe ,but again,it might not come up at poe.I will advice you to go with a copy of your old ticket if you still have it cause it will act as burden of proof to your story that you were enroute to the us when you had your baby in france.
