thankyouJesus: The meaning of your guess is as good as mine is that you don't know the answer, neither do I. That is, both of us know the answer not. This word is often misused. These two words too; trouble shooter and no love lost. A trouble shooter is someone that finds solution to a problem. No love lost means there is mutual hatred. 3 Likes |

Goodmorning all, how was your night? Trigonometry. I hope you can still remember your quadrants? If not, this is a quick recap: 1st quadrant: - sine is positive - cosine is positive - tangent is positive - 0<_¤<_90 2nd quadrant: - sine is positive - cosine is negative - tangent is negative - 90<_¤<_180 - (180 - ¤) 3rd quandrant - sine is negative - cosine is negative - tangent is positive - 180<_¤<_270 - (¤ - 180) 4th quadrant - sine is negative - cosine is positive - tangent is negative - 270<_¤<_360 - (360 - ¤) Bonus: There is difference between -trig and trig(-) 1. Sine is an odd function, i.e sin(-¤) = -sin(¤) e.g sin(-60) = -sin(60) 2. Cosine is an even function, i.e cos(-¤) = cos¤ e.g cos(-60) = cos60 3. Tangent is an odd function same as sine. Have a nice day |

Note: No calculator is allowed in UI post utme. Lets talk about special angle: 1. Sin0 = 0 cos0 = 1 tan0 = 0 2. 30 and 60 degrees draw equilateral triangle, label all the angles 60, the sides 2. Split the triangle into two, one of the angles will be 30 and 30, one of the sides will be 1 and 1. Redraw the triangles by separating the original triangle. One of the angle will be 30, the other 60. One of the side (hypotenus) will be 2, the other 1. Use Pythagora's theorem to find the remaining side (square root of 3). Working with the 30 degree sin30 = 1/2 cos30 = root3/2 tan30 = 1/root3, rationalizing tan30 = root3/3 Working with 60 degree sin60 = root3/2 cos60 = 1/2 tan60 = root3/1 3. Draw a right angled triangle, label the two adjacent sides, 1 and 1, use Pythagora's theorem to calculate the hypotenus (square root of 2), label one of the two angles 45. Sin45 = 1/root2 sin45 = root2/2 cos45 = root2/2 tan45 = 1/1 = 1 Note: You can use your calculator to verify the answer. 4. Sin90 = 1 cos90 = 0 tan90 = undefine 5. Working with 120. 120 is in second quadrant - sine is positive sin120 = sin(180 - 120) = sin 60 = root3/2 - cos is negative cos120 = -cos(180 - 120) = -cos60 = -1/2 - tangent is negative tan120 = -tan(180 - 120) = -tan60 = -root3 6. I believe you can work through, 150, 180, 210, 240, 270, 300, 330 and 360 degrees. Master this 1 Like |

REAL AND VITAL INFORMATION ABOUT UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN POST UTME PAST QUESTIONS. Every year, thousands of applicants/aspirants with intended interests to study a particular course in the University of Ibadan do make concerted efforts to get the Unibadan post UTME past questions. The truth of the matter is that UI don't release their past questions for sale. After exams, candidates are mandated under compulsion to submit the copies of their question papers before leaving the exam hall. Many are of the view that UI don't release their past questions simply because....(1) the questions are cheap for an average Nigerian student. (2) the do repeat some of their technical questions. But I want YOU reading this post to know that real UI post UTME past question is available with some people. This is Nigeria. WAEC/NECO questions do leak out to students before the exam. How much more will an Ordinary post UTME past exam questions not leak out? Think about this! The real UI post UTME past questions is from 2012-2014. I have gotten and compiled 2013 and 2014 questions. 2012 questions will be available soon. And the whole series of the 2012-2014 past questions will be available on Tuesday 21st April 2015. Samples will be posted here too. For question/enquiries call 08037737245. God bless... 2 Likes 1 Share |
