Astana come and see the reason I said let the south Africans kill the Igbos only. Why can't you just say Boko Haram killing people? Must you say killing THEIR OWN?
And you expect all Nigerians to pity you people. I only pity Nigerians from other tribes and the citizens of other countries
People like you should be remanded in a mental home. Is the assertion not true? Has Boko Haram not killed more Northerners in their evil rampage? What have Igbos got to do with that? That Nigerians foolishly put your terrorist brother into the presidential seat of Nigeria does not mean we do not know he is the master-mind of that satanic group but time will tell!

Pls stop wasting your time. Have you not been aware that Shekau and his Boko Haram boys have been working for the APC, Buhari, USA and Britain? He did a good job of destroying Jonathan's government so why won't his pay masters praise him?

Can u prove it pls? I refuse to hold such beer parlour or rather cosmetic opinion

and since you hate Igbos so much why wait for South Africans to do the killing for you? Why don't you start now to kill the Igbos so that you can satisfy your thirst for blood? Shame on you!

what other proof do you need for you to understand everything that has been happening is part of a huge conspiracy against President Jonathan by Nigerian saboteurs in the APC and the international community? Otherwise what explains the fact that during the presidential election the international observers refused to say anything about the massive rigging that went on the North? Instead they fingered some states in the South East and South South as having condoned rigging? America refused to sell arms to Nigeria and still followed them around the world to make sure they did not buy from any other country. Have you ever asked yourself how Boko Haram has been getting sophisticated weapons? If America and Britain have not been it's suppliers how come they have not been able to identify the sources of supply to the group through their sophisticated spy networks? There are so many questions begging for answers

You guys don't know the meaning of influential do you.. He was able to influence youths/teenagers to join his devilish campaign to rein havoc on Nigeria govt.. In the process, he was able to influence election results, due to the weakness/cluelessness of the GEJ administration being unable to destroy this same group... this what they mean ooo....oya thread close undecided

"There's no so such thing as bad publicity". This saying lately, has been given credence to by Times Magazine with its' enlistment of Shekau as one of the hundred most influential people in the world. In the last 24 hours, the social media have been awashed with Shekau making the list. Notably, Buhari and Chiamanda did same. With due respect to the past and present inductees, I have always ruminated on the yardstick for such enlistment. I thought good deeds alone, hold sway for such. This remains faux to me and its' process lacking objectivity.

Today, my trepidation and disdain have been brought to bare. Shekau making the list of hundred most influential people is an affront and show of insensitivity to the Nigeria people by Times magazine. How can Times magazine forget the several bomb blasts that have snuffed lives, properties, crippled cities and the economy of the North west et al;all masterminded by Shekau and his draconian group?

The #‎bringbackourgirls‬ campaign is still on and few days ago marked its one year of struggles and solidarity. Far away in the North east our, gallant soldiers are viciously combating the insurgents and they record deaths everyday. Shekau and his group have no doubt meted unprecedented pains to Nigerians and also threatened our existence as one yet, all Times Magazine could do was to enlist him as being influential. I have been waiting impatiently, for Nigeria's media houses to read the riot act to Times Magazine and smear them with invectives but that isn't forthcoming.

Should we begin to see terrorism and violence as ways to being influential?

You're right ,the United State former Secretary of state Hillary Clinton rejected the designation of Boko Haram as an FTO and the American government kept mute because the information was classified by the criminal CIA that is being directed by the White House top notch politicians, business moguls, and money bags.
America had an intention to destabilize this nation there by setting the whole of Africa on fire with too many armed conflict here and there just because African leaders are looking towards China.

African leaders are tending towards China and the West doesn't want it to happen.

It is now left for us to watch our leaders and value the sacrifices they are trying to make by listening to them else these wild men from Europe with a shiny skin will do wonders again because slavery still exists in their head.

Being influential is basically positive. Yes we know that someone can be a bad influence but that person cannot pass for being influential. Could you say Al Capone, Pablo Escoba, etc were influential men? They were simply notorious! So Time Magazine's staff should go and take a refresher course in the English language!

Something good for Africa must come with a prize .

Our thieving elites can't do shiit, they have no integrity and such they are usually puppets and once you refused to be tamed ,they might push you out unceremoniously or even kill you and if you doubt me ask Patrick Lumumba,Ghadafi,Laurent Gbagbo, Mohamed Murtala and presently Goodluck Jonathan. He was even lucky he didn't try shiit after rubbishing them with his policies that they consider sacrosanct.

That shekau made Jonathan look weak is no news and now Times of all magazine's are now listing a terrorist as one of the most influential people should tell you a thing but you wouldn't know because your head is stuck somewhere.

Do you people know the meaning of "influential" at all?

Influence could be positive or negative.

Even the BBOG that sent the whole world (politicians, musicians, sports people, students, men, women, old, young etc etc etc) protesting is more widespread than Ibn Laden. Did AU hold meetings cos of Ibn Laden? Ibn Laden only shook America and the West.

But every single region has held meetings cos of Shekau. etc etc etc.

with this there is no doubt that bokoharam is an organised conspiracy most world leaders in conjunction with their Nigerian counterparts to oust GEJ out of office. Obama never supported GEJ but has promised support buhari. obama never condemned boko haram but times crowned him influential personality. the wrath of GOD will descend on them.
