I have always been fascinated by the Igbo tribe. Their resilience, resourcefulness, drive, culture, togetherness(no matter where they are even in far away China, they always have 1 union where they meet regularly to address issues facing them, that Unity is admirable). Saw a British documentary about the Biafra war and the British High commissioner said the Igbos are the 'Jews' of Africa and some other tribes being jealous of them was inevitable. Till today, its still purely evident, yet they strive more and more. I admire the Igbo nation. #Respect!!! 36 Likes 5 Shares |

My guy, know when you are licked! I attended an FGC in the North and it was mainly an Igbo-Yoruba affair in terms of academic competition, with the sprinkling from minorities from the Delta and Middlebelt! Most of the Northerners had a distant back seat!! So, before you write bullcrap, do you expect the teeming millions of Igbos in the North to copy the Northern attitude of not attending school? In my opinion, the numbers the North even gets is largely due to the non-Northerners who live there! Wallahi!! hamaworld: 16 Likes |
