I have not been following the mining industry recently. It used to be a big industry in Canada, Australia, Asia and West Africa. A couple of my friends got jobs in Canada after their programme in the UK.

If you are keen on studying Mining Engineering and won't be more than 30 years on completion of your masters, I will advise you apply to CSM, University of Exeter for your programme. It has an international reputation. It used to be no 1 or 2 school in the mining industry. You can also get valuable contact there.

CSM graduates are respected and in high demand in the mining industry.

Cheers!

Thanks for your suggestion. But I think Mcgill University canada is also well renowed. It has been the best university in canada for the past 10 years.

Hello house,

Please i would like to know if there is a way i can go about using a company for an undergraduate sponsorship.

the program in question is GEOLOGY, and the person who wants to sponsor has a company that deals in supply of Oil and Gas, and i suggested he uses his company to sponsor as the program relates with the services of the company.

Please your advises are needed. Thanks,.

Since you said no update on your "mycic account" I'm guessing you applied online,
You'll have to be patient and keep checking for updates on it, there are some people here who applied longer than that and haven't gotten any update too. So relax, pray and hope for the best also check ur spam mails from time to time, so ur medical mail dsnt hide there. Lol

yes I applied online. Pls I heard that refuseal are usually 2 wks from submission to notify u on time is that true Cos , I feel nervous sometimes I check my portal for update. Gosh! I have been quite positive through my application and looking forward for med call.

Not true, a lot of times the refusal mail takes as long as the medical mail.

Keep being positive.

Well I fink he came home cos he actually wanted to... he would have actually gone for another program or better still stay in the country in as much as he doesn't pass his boundary. From facts, when u have studied for @ least two years and worked for at least a year(skilled work) u can apply for a permanent residence visa. Get more info from cic website

House, I need your contribution, I work in my uncle's company, he has decided to sponsor me with his own savings, not the company's account, should he use the company letter head to write the following,: letter of recommendation and letter of sponsorship?, which other documents should I get from the company other than letter of employment, study leave letter and letter of promotion, thanks
