I need advice on filling the Ds 160 form.

My brothers I-20 lists school funds as source of funding.should he fill the school as his source of funding in the U.S. visa form also? Thank you all for the great job you are doing here.

Ok good. He can go ahead and do so and also he needs his own Statement of Account for visa interview to prove to the CO he has other means of funds, just in case, the Funding or Scholarship diminishes. Anyone can be his sponsor of course, for visa.

whats all these nonsense talk about home ties; you think the US embassy doesnt have the data of people who return after their studies; they know YOU AINT COMING BACK; try to have a nice interview and stop giving yaself headache

It depends actually. Ask your institution if they do accept or have other options.

Health insurance is absolutely important.

@SirRiddy Toefl result out after just a week, received a mail to that effect on Friday, as expected it was more than 105 but the breakdown leaves much to be desired and the overall score was lower than the previous one. Blame JKK they kept me on my toes for close to 2 hours while waiting for check-in

Breakdown:

Reading 30
Listening 29
Speaking 20 cry
Writing 28

Total 107... 2 marks below my previous score... The former speaking was 24..
How una take dey read to pass this damn test with such a high mark? Na wa o

is the funding partial or full? If it's full or partial let him use whoever is sponsoring him here. The VO will see his funding in the I-20

That is one way they checkmate you're paying your insurance. You don't know how much hospitals charge here. But your insurance fee is just too much, well it also depends on your age. I pay 357 per semester.

In the US. it is important to check exactly what you are covered for. Many insurances are not a "pay for everything" system. Often there is some part that the sick person still has to pay.

Quite aware of that, but when it comes to International Students, they have a stipulated amount, though it varies with schools and it covers a lot, hence the high fee. A friend got pregnant and her insurance covers the hospital bills.
