Hello house. Please my mum wants me to use her business account for submission as statement of account because she hardly uses her personal account. is this a red flag because her business (accountancy) is no way related to engineering. please whats d best way to handle this situation. thanks |

Luvace: Her business and being your sponsor doesn't not come in the way of your intended course. |

Very good job ekpblues8. Your advice is solid, however, I have two reservations with NL. 1. Being closest to the Northpole, it is subject to a lot of snow storms 2. Don't you think a study in Oil and Gas Engineering is a bit limited in scope. I would welcome you perspectives. But already I smile at the Pros of NL. ekpblues8: |

My Sop n my other documents (certificates and transcript) is what makes it 3.7mb. Was told its not compulsory to sign my SOP so I typed my Sop on the 1st page of Ms word, pasted my other documents in the next page(s)... Converted to pdf n I compressed it. @Dapsey66 |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by SeyiMiilan: 10:37am On Apr 19, 2015 |
Thanks sir, u are so onpoint but I noticed for documents with small writing/front which u can read normally wen u zone, once u compress it using sniPping tool, u can read it wen u zoom on it...@Chars1289 |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Dapsey66: 11:04am On Apr 19, 2015 |
SeyiMiilan: If all your supporting documents are 3.7mb then you're good to go. Why not type your SOP and convert it to JPEG as you did the rest so it can match the formats of the other documents. Uniformity is key and it might go along way to say about you. That's my suggestion bro. Happy Sunday. |

@COCOSMITE:1. I agree with you bout snow storms, but canadians have been living with for over 100yrs. are u aware that they just discovered crude oil in commercial quantities offshore NL.?a lot of petroleum coys have been opening offices in NL enmasse.this discovery has changed the economic climate of NL.there is an increase in commercial activities cos of d discovery.NL needs you to develop their economy. the average salary of peroleum engineers in canada as at 2012 was CAD $93,517 per year. how bout 2015?.petroleum engineers are in high demand so go for it. NL is a peaceful place to study and live a peaceful life especially with your family.its a good place to raise a family. 2. mining in canada is also lucrative but look at the big picture: mining in nigeria is nothing to write home bout. as a mining engineer u are only relevant in canada. but as a petrolum engineer u are relevant in both countries which means a secured income for the future. have u forgotten bout the PIB Bill? which gives more nigerians more job opportunities in our petroleum industry. u can come back as an expatriate engineer in the nearest future u know. SO either way u remain a WINNER. CHEERS!!! 2 Likes |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Asumns: 2:25pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
Luvace:nature of your sponsor's business has nothing to do with your intend profession; u can present anybody in as much as he/ she is capable to sponsor u. |
Re: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Cocosmite: 2:41pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
That is great. You are versatile my dear friend. ekpblues8:What I meant of the scope of Oil and Gas Engineering is that it may be more narrow and constrained compared to a degree in Chemical Engineering . E.g Comparing Limitations of Oil and Gas Engineering MASc in Memorial to Chemical Engineering (Courses based on Petroleum studies) Msc in Dalhousie, do you think this Oil and Gas Engineering doesn't keep you in a box. Some people are of the opinion that degrees such as OIL and GAS ENGINEERING are designed for Internationales exclusively and may weigh less 4 diversity sake. Their opinion though. i Have admissions in both and I was hesitant on NL cause I felt Chemical Engineering degree covers both on broader range and recognition. About your study plan. Why did you chose North Island College? The degree selected is awesome and will be sort after continentally. Keep it up ekpblue8. |

Am considering masters in mechanical engineering, I need some realistic after school differences between MAsc and MEng, in terms of admission process difficulty , course content , Routh to professionalism, getting jobs and becoming P.EEng |
