Good Morning, pls am having knowledge gap abt uniassist. I want to apply for Masters in Finance, and I saw that there are applicatn fees to be ppaid 75euro, and 15 euro for subsequent applicatns, my question is how does this uni assist thing work, if I pay d 75euro, I won't need to apply to d sch directly, will dey give me admission letter. Secondly, has any body used master debit card to pay b4. Then do I need proof of english, is waec cert and degree credentials not sufficient. I contacted an agent on nairaland who said with 150k he'll get admission and prepare me for visa interview . (Is that possible). I will appreciate if I can get like example of 1 or 2schs that I can apply directly without english test, I have d proof of funds so all I need is admission letter and advice on schools thanks |

Hello house. There are a number of unis which require ONLY online application and no paper posting. How cool is this! Two of such are FH Aachen and Univ of Siegen. If you know of others, kindly list their names here. |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by justwise(m): 11:29am On Apr 19, 2015 |
ariyibioladokun: Who is the person? Name the agent because you are about to be ripped off. Write an English test, you will struggle to find a school that will exempt that. 2 Likes |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Williamso(m): 1:05pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
ariyibioladokun:Firstly, Uni-assist works by evaluating your credentials and applying to partnering schools (not all schools work with uni-assist) on your behalf. If/when you pay the €75, you won't need to apply to the school directly. If you wish to apply to another school - so as not to put your eggs in one basket - through them, then you'll pay €15 instead of €75. As for your admission letter, you'll get it from the school (or uni-assist). Secondly, I have not used a MDC to pay before. Thirdly, It depends. Different schools, even different departments in same schools vary their admission requirements. While some completely waive all language requirements for Nigerians, some others simply require a letter from your alma mater. Others though require that you write an internationally recognized language test (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.). Fourthly, if you had taken your time to go through this thread (and the part 1) you'll know quite enough to be an agent. Heck, give me 50% of that and I'll do same for you. Jeez. Don't be conned due to laxity; READ AND READ SOME MORE. Finally, you can find some schools that you can apply directly/indirectly to, with(out) language requirements here: daad.de/en. Now stop being lazy and get to work!!! PS.: Since money doesn't seem to be like your problem, I'd advise you write a language test, to broaden your scope... My 2¢ 3 Likes |

Hello House, A friend of mine came back from Germany. He said after registering and getting his student ID card, the language school in Germany was very very expensive, so he decided to came back to Nigeria to study German language B1 (Goethic) because the University did not allow him to start his course because of no German language proof. And his three months visa has expired. He was worried about getting his Visa again after his language Exam in Lagos. Any hope ? |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by lmuhopeful: 8:25pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
ariyibioladokun: why are you behaving this way. Simply google "master in finance(or acconting or whatever) germany" and you will see different schools coming up. Nobody here can start helping you find schools that dont require toefl. Thatis your job. By the way if you cqn think of giving an agemt 150k then you should be able to register for toefl and get necessqry books to prepare..dont be lazy..do thorough internet searches before coming here |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 8:48pm On Apr 19, 2015 |

ariyibioladokun:Guy na waa for you oh! Why you dey do me like this? Why you dey make me feel like say I waste my time for all that long post wey I been make? I even gave you a link to a fairly concise list of all study programmes in Germany in my previous post, and told you to check them for their requirements. Now I see why someone would demand 150k from you. SMH... Williamso: 1 Like |

ariyibioladokun:Guy, before you go ahead with any other thing, read this present thread from beginning, understand some basic things about this application procedures. check whether your grades will qualify for an Msc (at least 2.88/5.00 in Nigeria. use the daad website, don't veer left or right. 150k for info offered for free here? with half of that, I go design your room with admission letters, all things being equal. Go back to part 1 and read from at least page 350 and make yourself your own agent. You can do better than this. 1 Like |

I know they have 3 deadlines, March 15th, May 31st and July 15th if i can clearly remember. i applied in febuary inorder to be called for the ist interview which should be right about this period. As one stands a better chance if one applies before march. This is for petroleum engineering, i dont know if its the same for mining engineering. akin3102: |
