my dept started clearance last month or so.i tink al dept do dia tin separately.....i started mine last month buh i was delayed...as i said earlier..we are only doing the so called clearance bcuz of certificate....what you need sha is d faculty form duly signed by library.bursary and ur faculty officer..teller for gown...and alumni receipt..

our respective dept will produce that for us before we go for nysc orientation camp..cuZ we need it in camp tz one of d requirements..

Chidexsmokey posted it here that all akokites are expected be in skool on the 22nd of april(wednesday) with two passports dat would be submitted to our various depts! I don't really know if that one is part of the clearance. Someone even told me it is tuesday and not wednesday!

For clearance


Go to the department for your clearance cert...and pay #500. Then you'll be registered
(Be prepared to spare extra cash as tip to the secretary... )
2. Proceed to the faculty office to show them the department clearance. Upon verification, you'll be issued another faculty clearance form. Fill your data..
3. Take both forms to the library where you'll be cleared (to ensure you don't owe them any book or money ).it would be stamped

Step 4..
Proceed to the bursary office (the basement below the library ) with both forms. Go with your school fees receipt or your faculty (gown + cert) receipt , your school ID card. You'll also have it stamped by 2 officers in that same office (they are sitting opposite each other )
Take the forms back to the faculty office for filing. You'll have to go back for it at the date given by the officer.

6. Anticipate a wonderful convocation experience. Congratulations!
