Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) has again called on the United Na­tions (UN) to pass a resolu­tion recognising the South- East of Nigeria as a State of Biafra.

This, the organization said, would be in conformity with the recognition given the ter­ritory in the late 60s by some countries during her struggle for self-determination.

National Assistant Director of Information of the move­ment, Sunday Okereafor, in a statement, said the out come of the 2015 general elections in the country was nothing but a repeat of the 1960s in which two of the three major blocs in the country conspired against the South-East, cul­minating in the civil war that claimed the lives of many Igbo.

He stated that with the present political marriage be­tween the North and South- West, Ndigbo had no place in the political arrangement of today’s Nigeria, emphasising that in the present circum­stance, it would be expedient for the UN to recognize Bi­afra as a sovereign state.

NO they do not have to, they should stop veiwing themselves as Nigerians when South sudan broke away the south sudanese dud not automatically relicate to the south. They are minority and do not reprsent the views of the vast majority. The Nigerian government however can start treating them more like Biafrans . BTW Biafra is not only IGBO there are many hausa and youruba communities all over Biafra and if they accept to join in THE CAUSE they will qualify to be in possession the Biafran PASSPORT and every right that goes with it including voting and getting voted for from mayor to president.

If they want to leave Nigeria and form their own country called Biafra, I think its a welcome development. ... Though you can't eat your cake and have it. They should literally leave Nigeria to Biafra (imo, abia, anambra, enugu and ebonyi this time).

If any Nigerian or 'Niger Deltan' if those ones decide to leave too-wants to come to biafra, he will need a Visa or some form of documentation before he can go into Biafra.
Same goes for Biafrans who want to enter Nigeria.

No one will violate the sovereignty of the Biafra nation and the Citizens of Biafra (igbos) should also know their boundaries.

As regards other tribes being in Biafra...no no no way....Biafra is an igbo dream..igbos should push for it alone and God bless you, you have it in the end.

Just don't try to take any Land in Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwaibom, Cross rivers.....these people are not igbos, they are not biafrans....they are NIGER DELTANS the crude oil, plam oil, gas, fish and sea food people....

Phillip Effiong, Kaduna nzeogwu etc etc all made their mistakes which cost nzeogwu his life and Phillip effiong his pride as he apologised to gowon when Ojukwu ran away to wherever he ran to after the war.

There is no 'igbo' in my state Delta state. We have ukwanis and some delta ibos who will never agree to be called 'IGBOS'...

Biafra is a good dream for the igbos, push for it without the Niger Delta. As the Name implies BIAFRA- it also sounds igbotic!...

You have a brain but chose not to use it fisrt of all IGBO land is far bigger than south east and if we leave of course all other IGBOs in the south south ie those in delta, in i think kogi(not too sure about the IGBO citizens that have their ancestral land there) in Benue (some time ago they complaind about marginalization in that state) Anioma which means the good land in English, a very large part of River State is pure IGBO land ie ObiIGBO and many others we will leave with them. As for Ijaws and ogonis and Kalabaris etc, if they prefere the failed state that one is their business. Any yoruba ir hausa or other tribes or individual that supports THE CAUSE us highly welcome

None of these people you have mentioned call themselves IGBO!!!! Don't you get it!!!..they don't want your Biafra dream which is why they fought against you in the past because they see where it will lead to.
