One thing I hate more than ignorance iis blatant lying. Tswana is one of the South African languages, I'm SeTswana speaking myself, people from Lesotho, Botswana and Swaziland are regarded as South Africans because all these are spoken in the SA. and are regarded as South African states, You can't even tell that someone is from Botswana, so please enough with the lies

This is the reason why Lesotho made this statement. I know she is clear that she is concerned about her people and the difference btw South Africa and Lesotho

You guys have failed to answer my question. I'm going to ask again. Is it possible for an African to be an illegal immigrant in an African country? it doesn't make any sense. You see Europeans in other European countries, but they aren't called illegals or foreigners. What happened to Africa for Africans?

Many South Africans have never hidden the fact that they hate Nigerians. It's been going on for a while now. The Blacks resent the enterprising nature of the Nigerian Immigrants and their success with their women who are marrying or hooking up with hardworking Naija boys at an alarming rate.

The hatred is not helped by their media (controlled by Whites), releasing movies that cast Nigerians as devils/Aliens/Criminals.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/District_9
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/8264180.stm

And forget about the Zulus. They (their "leaders" ) have been traitors to Black Anti-Apartheid struggle since the beginning of time!

I am Pan-Africanist to the core, but real is real. I hope this inexplicable and unwarranted and self-destructive hatred helps tribalistic and intolerant Nigerians to see each other as brothers and sisters. undecided

One day all Africans will feel the brotherly sentiment towards their fellow Africans cool . . . hopefully.

Take the South Africans out of the equation, the question is who likes Nigerians? Let's be honest, which country welcomes Nigerians with open arms? Your reputation precedes you where ever you go! It's not a South African thing but a global one, so stop making this about South African blacks! If you were so enterprising how come you country is in the state it's in?why do you feel the need to be enterprising on foreign lands but your own? Hardwork is not exclusive to Nigerians, let's be real for once! You say tha we are Xenophobic and yet you say you marry our women at ano alarming rate, aren't the women also supposed to be Xenophobic?

Yes it is if you take into account the existence of countries within a continent. This applies to every know country. The difference is there are measures developed nations such as Europe have taken to integrate their countries, create one currency and allow for free flow of goods and services based on on par economic well being.

Africa is unique in recent history in that it has shared in the destructive advent of colonialism and racism and therefore is required to band together as a force because it fights the same common enemy. This is intelligent and is what needs to happen regardless of the concept of nation building.

So yes you can be considered an illegal immigrant within a sovereign state but there should be a certain level of economic movement of both capital, labor, goods and services freely across borders.

Lets take South AFrica out of the equation.

Almost every other country welcomes Nigerians with open arms (apart from South Africa). What they do not welcome is Nigerians who engage in illicit and illegal acts as any country should not.

By share numbers, Nigerians constitute the highest number of immigrant graduates with Masters, PHD's and the likes in the US, The UK and the likes. Gestimates would put about 10 million Nigerian diasporans outside the country and likewise less that 1 % of them involved in criminal activities.

but then again the Nigerians should look themselves in the eye while the SAffers get a pass on Xenophobia.

Hmm?

The rest of you are just overly sensitive as soon as we call you names and can't hold a conversation pretty much after that.

We have Venda people who are South Africans

We have Tsogan/Shangaan who are on the South African side too.

Strange, How would the attackers know which one is on the SOUTH AFRICAN SIDE EITHER

What makes these people less South African?

I know about the highest number of graduates blah blah! But as soon as any African touches Heathrow airport, degrees and Phd's are the last thing on that country's authorities minds. And who is to blame?

Really..What you are doing is just a reflection of what you are as a BLACK SOUTH AFRICA MAN...Inability to reflect but huge ability to deflect and project problems unto others... This thread is about SAFRICAN XENOPHOBIA....Look it is silly for South Africans to feign ignorance about it.. You don't have to be on the streets killing foreigners to be xenophobic, The xenophobic attitudes of South Africans for the most part are on display..buttons don't need to be pressed..

I have travelled with my british passport to South Africa and on my Nigerian passport too.. On 4 separate occasions..at the immigration which is meant to be the face of South Africa to foreigners, the attitude was clear. He hounded me for being Nigerian and also British.. at the end of discussion he shouted at me and said I should live his till or he would kill me... I won't recount other instances.. I have been singled out of waiting crowds at OR TAMBO and asked very uncomfortable questions.. A woman immigration officer has called me A drug dealer because I am Nigerian ..But I let her have it.. I reciprocated by calling her a rapist and she was totally shocked...We settled the IMPASSE at the side offices of the immigration persons at OR TAMBO...

I would digress though.. TROLLING on a Nigerian forum trying to defend the indefensible just shows the new low that you guys are stepping to. I don't blame you though.. Your President has not taking responsibility for anything he has done...he keeps deflecting..exactly what you are doing...

What is sadder is South Africans keep pushing this ideology around PAN AFRICANISM..SMH#.I don't know what is sadder the fact that they don't know what that ideology means or they actually think South Africa as a country is AFRICA as a whole? Can someone please help me educate this lost souls...about what PANAFRICANISM is? The narrow nationalist ideology they have forged with slowly isolate them more just like the days when the WHITE MASTERS DOMINATED them....but offcourse they forget what they went through and what it meant to be the oppressed and have an oppressor...Now they are not only the OPRESSOR..they are coming for people that are not in anyway their enemy...

Again, very rude Nationalist attitude. This forum for the most part is in English.. We are all Africans and as usual like South Africans do.. They would start speaking their languages to cut you off from a conversation.. This is very rude..

You might not like the heat you are getting here for the wickedness of your kinsmen... But trust me.. That heat is not only here.. If you travel and see the world.. THe outrage people are pouring out at your antics....SMH. is similar..You can not come here and defend what is happening in South Africa.. That makes you fit in nicely with your blodd thirsty KINSMEN on the streets..

You talk of spoting foreigners etc.. Zimbabweans share a common accentry with you along with Swazis, the people of the Mountain (Lesotho) and Botswanas.. They just don't share your perception of what other black people are... You kill Zimbabweans and Mozambiquans ..we know some of them are from your tribe.
