truefact:

Yet in Nigeria of today, they are really loser. I will rather share 100 % of my wealth with 1 person than 6 people. I might get 50%, even 40% sharing with1 person but with 6 people will not even get 25%. Well, they should choose what best for them.. Nigeria or biafra.. Aboki or their brother... the only problem is most people are born fools

Pls stop calling Niger deltans your brothers, they have never been and they ll never be. This is how you guys usually create enemies within as a result of your greediness and domineering attitude. Niger delta have got her own identity and let them be you freaking bigot.

Why can't you guys just stick to what you have if truly you guys are jews and build your small region as you have built other regions in Nigeria

The fact we have people ready to die for biafra under Radio biafra London should settle the score

It's not about being ready to die for Biafra, 2 million people died for Biafra, yet Biafra remains a dream. Death will not actualize Biafra.

We must marry our local politics with the Biafran movement. This is the first step. Anything other than this is a waste time.

We must find a way to place core pro secession Biafrans at the seats of power throughout Igboland from the national Assembly members, the Governors, the State house of Assemblies down to the councillors.

Republic of Igboland Will be a great country, of this truth, I have no doubt about.

But what baffles me is why Ndiigbo are yet to marry our demand for independence with our local politics.

I look at Scotland's failed secession referendum, I saw that it was led by their political elites, especially Mr Salmond.

I look at the Catalonia demand for independence from Spain, I see that the Catalonia people have forced their Catalonia political elites to become pro Catalonia independence, if they must retain power in Catalonia.
Their leader even conducted a non official referendum where the majority of Catalonians voted for independence from Spain.

These groups( Catalonia and Scotland) had managed to put core pro secessionist elements at the helm of their political affairs.

My questions are:

1. Why is it that Ndiigbo keep shouting for independence from Nigeria, yet we have surrendered our power to pro Nigerian political elites.

2. Why have we failed to bring core pro secession Igbotic political elites burning with hatred for "one Nigeria" and all it stands and undying for Igboland.

3. Why are MASSOB and other Pro Biafran groups too naive, how can they be busy chasing shadows in foreign lands seeking for Biafra recognition, when they ought to be strategizing at home( Igboland) on how to put their key men in all positions of power in Igboland, systematically replacing the greedy and selfish pro Nigerian ones, and at last making the Biafran movement a political one, with strong voice in all state house of Assemblies in Igboland, the Nigerian Senate and House of representatives.

To me, these are the real questions Ndiigbo should be asking ourselves, until we answer those questions correctly with actions, the Biafran movement will remain childish and elicit mockery and laughter from other Nigerian groups.
Spain and UK are not Nigeria. mean while i don't think you really know who and who are involved in Biafra or are you one those that Igbos are the only Biafrans

Buhari adminstration should try its possible best no to marginalise the eastern bloc(SE &SS) it will go a long way to help Nigeria Especially these states that where carved out from eastern and east central states

Biafra is not only any Igbo dream but the dream
of eastern Nigeria...if a referendum is carried out
now, you will see a lot( if not all of) SS citizens
rooting for Biafra...
I don't want Nigeria to divide Yet, because i
believe together we can be great but if there is a
referendum i will go for Biafra without looking
back .

For those shouting am from SS i want to ask,
*what is SS or Niger delta? lets not deceive our
selves if chance is given all of us we seek for
Biafra *JUST THE HUMBLE TRUTH*

Nigeria is so blessed with different ethnic backgrounds, that instead of us to poll our various knowledge together for the better of this nation, we are busy being discriminatory to every other ethnics.
Why black man? Why? After Una go say If U enter oyibo country U go love the standard of living, this stuff is very possible here in our background
let's look at the few developed countries on this continent its either they are of arabic origin ( Maroc, Tunisie, Algeria) or SA (the white ppl there mostly settled there) these ppl don't hate on their fellow men because they are from a different state or ethnic background. Sure maybe the other ethnic is known to be more criminally minded or Education savvy or Business oriented at the end of the day they all converge all in the spirit of one nation
America which has the best economy In the world is basically composed of ppl who immigrated from all parts of the world, hw much more if there were actually from the N america continent, that means they would be frighteningly massive.
Pls let's change our mentality towards different ethnic background and stop indirectly passing discriminatory messages to our sibling or young ones so that when they grow up they don't start thinking their ethnicity is the best in the world or supreme to another, pride is bliss but ignorance is a curse,
Can U really say that the Hausa, Yoruba and the Igbos ((including all minor ethnics) ave not contribute immensely to the development of Nigeria both home and abroad.
Now instead of Us to be proud of the fact that we are in a diverse multi ethnic country (which most countries would love to have) we are busying hating on your own brother that originated just 300 miles from your ancestral home! Can U imagine the nonsense U guys both yoruba and Igbos spew to each other, its so sad, I hope u don't pass this message to unborn or already born kids if not there will be no more 9ja.
Infact I blame the British for joining us, its obvious we are not smart as we think, someone whose ancestral home is close to yours, U feel is justifiable to kill them or throw them in lagoon all in the name that U are far better than them really?, honestly if this hatred for each other doesn't stop soon we will soon enter a state common in the middle east .
By the way my Hausa, Yoruba & Urobo brodas, yes there are actually Igbos that originated in the SS or Niger Delta.
I for example am from Anioma, Delta state & if U ask me all of us in Anioma have igbo blood in us despite our benin ancestry, the land our benin ancestors settled on was intially inhabited by Igbos, through time and generations they both intertwined,
IF U are from anioma or another tribe in The Niger Delta and your dialect is more or less Igbo, am sorry don't deny ur heritage, don't deny ur familyline, Language can't lie , people from nearby locations from different background speaking similar or less change in their language originated from the same ancestry (or close to).
Thank you.

LIes lies lies
Countries of world are developed in tribal and ethnicity line
Slovakia is owned by slavs
Croatia is owned by croats
Scotland by scots
England by Anglo saxons
Germany by bavarian
Holland by dutch
Thailand by thais
French by fancs
These are ethnucity
Catolonians want their basque country
igbo want their biafra
Eastern Ukraine ..you. know na

We just don't want to be part if this madness .we are just fed up with u

Take ur abuja
Take your lagos

Nigeria are learners to Spain and UK, when it come to suppression of pro secession groups, those two countries have existed for centuries, Nigeria is but a child.

Those secessionist in those countries have succeeded in marrying their local politics with their secessionist movements.

How can you be talking of Biafra, when you have a Mallam in Douglas house representing you.

If you lots will not do the right thing, by coming home to hijack the local politics, then you lots should stop jeopardizing the lives of naive Igbo youths who you make easy targets to the blood thirsty Odua-Arewa police and Army with your nonsense Biafra utopian dreams.

Uwazuruike once had the power of a god in Igboland, he could cripple the economic activities in all Igbo towns and even parts of Lagos and North, by just issuing a sit at home command to Ndiigbo.
Such a power and devotion could have easily been converted to a political one, Uwazuruike could have easily become the governor of Imo state, and from there spread his tentacles to other parts of Igboland, but he was so blind to see that, and preferred jumping up and down with Biafran flags, Nonsense!

Honestly, tell me which tribe in Nigeria has settled better in all part of the country whether hostile or friendly. I don't intend bragging but it is the simple truth. My brother, I just feel bad. I was in Aba some days ago, and I saw some young Igbo youths with fresh wounds on their bodies, they were stripped of their shirts and they were just on their boxers, they were on the back of a police hilux, they looked dejected and downcasted, I asked around, and I learnt they are MASSOB members, and that was their crime. Apparently they were having a meeting, and the info leaked, the police raided the place and arrested them, you need to see the kind of panel beating they gave those guys.

This type of thing can't be happening, if we have pro Biafran political leaders. We would have since pushed out the Arewa-Odua police from our regions and police ourselves. We can achieve that.

Uwazuruike and his MASSOB are just making our Youths sitting targets for Arewa-Odua police and Army in Igboland. Since it's obvious Uwazuruike is bereft of Ideas on how to go about the Biafran cause, he and his MASSOB rubbish should be banned in Igboland to save our Youths.

The issue here a lot of our people talk like the know what they are talking about when they dnt. U are asking us to seek for biafra from national assembly full of looters that hate to see biafra in the first place. U must have your head checked. It like asking iraqis to seek for regime change from Saddam. Thats nonesense.

The french in collision with the UN were quick to snatch biafran land through the haters like gowon and obj therefore since the country is illegal in the first place created by evil lugard then fighting insiders and outsiders is the way to go.

Do u know there was uprising in opposition to the British invaders on biafran land but they were all killed.

My friend the fact that the zoo is meant to last for 100 years is enough to settle the score

I took my time going through your vituperations and found nothing but bitterness. I have no idea why you're bitter. It could be anything. But whatever it is, I advise you channel the bitterness into something productive.

Being bitter about Igbos will rather kill than save you. I once harbored an urhobo friend for years and I can say he wasn't like you.

Now on the issue of Biafra I tried to find and see how it really concerned or affected you but I could not make that connection. Because no matter how Biafra boundaries went it will never include the urhobo tribe. So why are you bitter?

There are Igbos outside the five south eastern states. And when the time comes for boundary demarcation these people will decide their own fate. It is none of our business wherever they choose to be. In fact, we Ndigbo don't really care about how big or small or country will eventual be. All that we desire is a country that we can proudly call our own. And that is BIAFRA.

The people of south Sudan separated and went away from the main Sudan. And shortly after they started fighting but I can tell you that they yet prefer that very south Sudan they're fighting than going back to the bigger Sudan. Having your own country is like have your own house. There's nothing compared to the freedom and progress that come with being on your own.

On the other hand too I think I could almost feel where your bitterness is coming from. It is either because you have a feeling that your urhobo tribe will always be subject to a superior tribe for eternity. And thus you would rather that we all stay together than we leaving and leaving your people at the mercy of the bigger tribes. Another reason could also be of course that you so love the Igbo tribe and would not want them to go, but rather than come openly to plead with them to stay and jettison their Biafra dream, you decided to throw vitriolic tripe at us. Or lastly you could just be one of those fellows who could not stomach the ingenuity of the Igbo man, and are simply bitter to death.

Having said that, I hope you would learn a thing or two.

As for me, I want to thank God who made me Igbo. And should there be another life I pray he make me even more Igbo. That alone has always been my source of joy and a radiating confidence.

NO they do not have to, they should stop veiwing themselves as Nigerians when South sudan broke away the south sudanese dud not automatically relicate to the south. They are minority and do not reprsent the views of the vast majority. The Nigerian government however can start treating them more like Biafrans . BTW Biafra is not only IGBO there are many hausa and youruba communities all over Biafra and if they accept to join in THE CAUSE they will qualify to be in possession the Biafran PASSPORT and every right that goes with it including voting and getting voted for from mayor to president.

you need more light ..to start with, first you do not know the full meaning of Niger Delta, nevertheless you are from Delta state makes you feel as if the Rivers are you brothers or the Ijaws, no.. if a rivers man speaks i bet you ,you will never understand him,an Ogoni man speaks i bet the same... we the rivers will be on our own and the deltas will be on there own. the igbos will make a good nation coz of their language but i doubt if rivers can?

Just one more time, wait , have you ever heard that the name "BIAFRA" was suggested by an IJAW man?

Did Yoruba and Fulani people deduce anything from this last election? Did they not realize that even if the SS erred against the SE during the war that we have now realised that Nigeria marriage is a fraud? ARE THEY SAYING WE ARE STUPID.

No wonder you say you are the majority in the southsouth and the other tribes (your hosts) will have no option than to follow your lead. SMH. Your reasoning is just sick!! gosh!

If the niger deltans had advocated for biafra alongside you, no problem at all. The crazy thing is they are not interested and have repeatedly shown this. They killed you, seized your properties and refused to return them even after war. Till date, Not one group from the southsouth has come out to advocate for biafra.

Been reading the thread so far, can't find any posts that say the Igbo shouldn't go. So where did you get your own information from?
