HAH: Until the xenophobic Yoruba accepts the concept of nationhood, Igbo must seek to get out of the union. As for your claim that Igboland cannot contain all Igbos, if you are enlightened enough, you would know that Tokyo metropolis with a population of about 35 millions is large enough to contain every single Igbo man. 3 Likes |

Babalegba: ^^^So you reckon new opportunities wouldn't arise in the new Igbo nation? Also, do you intend chasing out ALL Igbo from your country? On what basis would that happen.....and what do you think ECOWAS, AU and the UN would have to say about such an action? Just for the record, ALL will be welcome to the new Igbo nation as we intend to make it the center of industrialization, commerce, real estate and tourism in Africa! The new Igbo nation would be the pride of the black race and home to ALL! 2 Likes |

Initially, this was laughable, but then maybe the poster honestly doesn't know. The whole Igbos on earth about 60-70 million of them can and would fit into only Enugu, or Imo state alone if needed! The rest land space could be used for whatever is neccessary: high yield agriculture, industry, or even nuclear bomb testing! If you have travelled to NYC, Taiwan, Hong Kong, or Singapor, you certainly wouldn't be asking such a childish question. Taiwan is almost as large as Onitsha, and see what they have done. Your question should be where would Igbos dump their trash and excrement in the morning Well, that's where the vast uninhabited, arid, and non-product northern land mass would come in handy! 1 Like |

Anambra State alone can accomodate the entire igbos alone with present building arrangement in Igboland. Below is how we do it in East. Pics below are few layouts in Onicha precisely Iyiowa Odekpe. When you visit Awada, Nkpor, Fegge, Obosi, Woliwo, Oba and inland town you will shock. 2 Likes

Stuuupidity is when you regard this as a city, imagine poorly executed hamlets in an unplanned area of land. Everybody is building anyhow without proper code and no economic or aesthetic value to add to the place. Imagine what someone people are calling city, one skycraper doesn't make a ruin a city. customized13: 1 Like |

customized13: No fewer than 70 landlords have been arrested in the last two months for defaulting in providing toilets facilities in their houses in Ekiti. The Director of Environment and Sanitation, Mr Tunde Balogun, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ado-Ekiti on Friday. Balogun described the landlords as “recalcitrant residents’’, who always test the will of government when issues relating to policies and programmes come to question. He said that the affected land lords would be prosecuted under the Ekiti State Environmental and Sanitation Law, 2004 and the Environmental Regulations 2009, as amended. He recalled that this year, the state Ministry of Environment organised an awareness campaigns on the need for the landlords to abide by government’s policy of “One House, One Toilet’’. “Those landlords, who were arrested, turned deaf ears to the government’s order, thinking they can ignore an important policy such as this and get away with it,’’ he said. The director, who said the exercise would be continuous one, declared that all offenders would face the wrath of the law. “There is nobody in Ekiti, who will say he is not aware of various existing Environmental laws that are passed by the House of Assembly and assented to by Gov. Kayode Fayemi. “They think we are not serious about this, and so, they must pay de www.vanguardngr.com/2013/09/ekiti-govt-arrests-70-lanlords-without-toilet-facilities-in-their-houses/ 1 Like |

The first pic is upper Iweka a busy bus stop with business activities. The second pic is just behind my hood, 5 years ago we use to go fishing in those swamps where these houses are erected. Developers in East have killed our ecosystem, freshwaters are now being refilled for residential neighborhoods. 1 Like
