Somebody for KIA don hammer. Continue singing Fashola praises. Your children's children's........ children will pay for all the excesses. Lagos is swimming in serious debt. |

Lagos needs to do away with those horrible danfos and the unsightly taxis. If Calabar can have decent looking taxis then there is no reason why public transport in Lagos need look so unappealing. 1 Like |

To serve no other purpose than to add to the intractable traffic menace in Lagos. |

In my own opinion, in a state where traffic jam is the order of the day, BRF went ahead & acquired more vehicles to add to the existing congestion. He should have bought power bikes for those guys instead of the cars. Navigation will be easier for them just like it is for the RRS guys. Hope they are properly maintained unlike the BRT buses. What Lagos needs now is traffic monitor helicopters, not cars that will themselves be stuck in traffic. Motorbikes are even better. |

mmsen:Not as if I like danfos nd such but if it costs N40million to put cabs on Calabar roads, it will cost N400 million to do the same on Lagos roads + hundreds of thousands of ex-criminal minded danfo drivers will loose their jobs.......and be back to crime. Replacing danfos, if not handled properly can distabilize the whole Lagos State. That's why its problems can't be compared to any State, thus, only the best individuals can Govern Lagos. 1 Like |

ba7man: What you have just highlighted is why the Lagos metro project is so important. The BRT service has been largely a success but alternatives to road transport are necessary in Lagos - such as ferry services, I know of some private operators but it surprises me that Lagos State has not felt it necessary to operate a bigger service. I think Lagos has taken big strides in the past 8 years and I'm looking forward to seeing how Lagos develops. |

They should employ graduates and redefine the face of lastma . take a leaf from road safety officials their cars r never rickety in nature bcoz majority of their officials are level headed. These cars wont last more than two years in the hands of this present crop of lasta officials . |
