To all the nay sayers. I believe it's okay to call you a bastard when GMB eventually put the train on track and you go to the station to have a ride. |

tsdarkside: Truth be told, Nigeria is a forced marraige Only the parasites enjoy this hell hole called Nigeria; gor the hausa fulani to always be in power tells you that they are suppossed to be a country of their own; but they just can't get their eyes off oil It doesn't make economic sense to secede now but going back to regional governments, where states are collapsed to one region would make more sense as regions would be forced to work harder for real. Right now is about 'let my brother be in presidency, or be Senate Presidnet or that minister or that speaker.......how does it benefit the common man on the street GMB and many intelligent people know these but becuase of oil they won't just as a corrupt government knows exactly what to do but the urge to embele can't make them think straight |

We haven't been able to supply constant electricity to homes and offices in Nigeria to boost our economy and improve standard of living, yet we want to add modern trains that require electricity,to our transportation system;how? Shouldn't we be talking about having stable power supply for 24hrs in a year first, before talking about using cable trains? Development needs proper planning and implementation;it isn't something that should be rushed. The GEJ govt took the issue of unstable electricity into consideration before opting for locomotives. |

SeverusSnape:if all these suicide bombers actually killed themselves and other innocent lives too so as to put Buhari in power, then i'm sorry to say that anything he's planned for this country won't work. cos the blood of those innocent souls will torment him and make all his efforts useless. |
Re: Photo : GMB Inspecting The Train For New Nigeria by sweetgala(m): 7:20am On Apr 24, 2015 |
afolag: The cost of road maintenance , compared to the the almost non existent road tax system means it cost the government loads of money to maintain while it receives no money for use. With rail, it is fast, safe ,non disruptive to other transportation, relives the roads of congestion , accessible to all , and there is a participatory funding by the commuter who uses rail services in the way of ticket cost. Goods may also be transported. |

SeverusSnape: Stupidity of the highest order is when you think that General Buhari who has traveled all over the world would not know an electric train and you who can't even afford transport to Seme birder can bad mouth him because you dismally failed to hoist a week flag of a president. Boy, borrow sense fast. |

chronique: He is looking at an idea, he has not concluded to invest in it, and the rejuvenation of the rail system is underway under the Jonathan government anyway. It is also easier to distribute power to specific function than to homes. Nigerian civil planning is poor , people just build houses anyhow |
