Global position? Lmao.

The same people that treated Jonathan like a leper while he was in power? I don't think so!

I believe they are just trying to swell his head in case he's thinking of doing anything funny before May 29th. If you noticed, US has been far too interested in Nigeria politics and elections ever since the beginning of April. For some reasons, They seriously need Jonathan out of Aso rock ASAP.

They didn't Nelson Mandela global position, na Jonathan dem go come see? Stay dere.

He should be positionless locally and globally. He can not bringbackourgirls.

You can't give him a political, gender or economic position. He failed the Nigeria in all ramifications. Almost 60% of the electorates voted him out of power. He almost aborted the electoral process by demanding an extension of six weeks. Look at the post below and appreciate this position..very well.

Nonsense request by the US...nonsense, i repeat...nonsense

The headline is kinda wrong, but different people see things in different perspective. The statement "urged him to “remain engaged and play a leadership role in global issues” as his presidency is gradually winding to an end in a month’s time" simply is an advice for the current president, Biden is not nominating or suggesting he would be assigned a global assignment.

You people always say they should "mind their business" whenever they made reference to Jo and his incompetent government. When they commended Jega, you guys almost pulled down the roof over White House, especially that old goombah Edwin Clerk. Isn't this them talking about Jo anymore?? Why can't you ask them to "mind their business"??
... From your own observation... does Jega deserve commendation?? see its high tym they stop fooling nigerians. as far as am concern, this is the worst election Naija has ever had.. twas accepted because of the unity of Nigeria!! if they want to make a free and fair election in this country...... Nigeria Government should be looking @situation whereby presidency election will be conducted in 36days.. each day for one state.. all the Inec comissionals and the states Inec official will be on grand!! well Naija still has a long wey to go... wish buhari d best.

No other Nigerian President dead or alive has been commended in this light. GEJ out-shining them even after losing his presidency. Your luck is really good. I always remember this your famous quote "the love of power is not responsible for what you are today rather the power of love has taken you this far". Let them hate all they want, they can't be anything close to you and they know it!

You should expect Nigerians to be at arms when we notice U.S involvement in our democratic process.
But making GEJ an ambassador would set a good precedent for future leaders in Africa.
You seem to be speaking from the both sides of your mouth. Condemning his bad deeds is termed involvement but praising his good deeds is termed good precedence? Smh.

That would be a great preferment for the outgoing president. He would fit the role of a global civil servant admirably- he exhudes the mentality and characteristics of a civil servant. He will be round peg in a round hole.Nigerians would be proud of him in that new role.
