My Gionee P2(rooted, with cwm recovery and custom ROM) popped up this message on its screen this morning: "SD card is damaged. Try reformatting. All data on your card will be lost". Please Bosses in the house, what steps should I take to recover the card with all apps intact, especially the cwm recovery? And how do I go about cwm-recovery restore? Do I unroot the phone first or go ahead and boot into recovery mode and do a restore, i.e, if the custom recovery is not affected by the card damage? Please what should I do? Thanks.

Please, my P2 has stopped recognizing my SD card. It keeps saying SD card is damaged. But when I insert the card into another phone it works perfectly. What's the solution please?

If you can get a computer put the memory card in another phone then copy all your data to the computer then format the memory card and copy your files back to it then insert on ur phone again
