Its unbelievable that this issue of frustration in masters programme is not a malady peculiar to only my school futo but an issue that runs across board through our citadel of learning all over. I am done with my course work, finished thesis but to defend me is an issue. Anyway thank God for my job

Fees depend on ur faculty. Btw 80 to 100k Duration also depends. Masters in most fields is 2 yrs. While post grad diploma is 1 yr.

Bro don't mind that guy, he doesn't know what he is saying. Maybe he thinks that their undergraduate programme is like their PG programme. That was what most of us thought when we started in 2011 and till date we are still wasting our lives there. I repeat Unizik has the worst PG programme in Nigeria. Very substandard and disorganized. Doing my M.Sc. there is the worst mistake I've made in my life.

Remove UNN from the list. Generally, their masters programme take a long time. Especially Enugu campus where money is a factor that determine progress. I started an Msc programme there and left after coursework. I took up another offer somewhere else and graduated before most of my mates at UNN.

Why don't you try uniuyo? Engineering is very fast there. Dunno of other schools though.

I spent about 9 months for my MA English Language programme.I started on 19th May,2014 and wrote my last paper on 17th January,2015.My Convocation is next week Thursday. I must confess that Unilag is pretty fast and as such the Op's claim is true.

There are great opportunities out there in Middle East for Holders of Masters degree in English Language, specifically, in the field of Teaching English as a Second Language.
