Please let's settle this amicably. SA should tame it's brainless, wild dogs and Nigeria being big brother should forgive but not forget. 18 Likes 1 Share |

I don't think recalling of the ambassador is right in the 1st place. Ambassador recalling should be the last at least till average Nigerian citizen have being evacuated from there. 19 Likes |

dridowu: You are right. What is the sense in recalling him? Is he at risk of attack? Who will Nigerians left there look up to? 11 Likes 1 Share |

I think the SA government have been doing quite a bit to quell the attacks. It is tough to stop civil unrest and their efforts should not be undermined. However, they need to make this a priority in their diplomatic policies and also review their laws accordingly to protect both their citizens and foreign residents. Their immigration laws should be properly revisited and enforced to reduce the number of illegal immigrants in the country. They are a leader of the African race and should set the pace in situations like this. 5 Likes |

There's something wrong with them...if they choose to bring the synagogue building collapse into this issue which is unrelated (and unreasonable), they should continue to dig until they remember the way they embarrassed our government recently before we went to Russia to buy arms. We can't continue to do big brother with the lives of our citizens (civilians and military). We have done enough for South Africa, the next steps of the next administration won't be this mild if they do not call their people and companies to order. 29 Likes |

The Recall was a good move but not a smart move. A smart move would have been sending two C130 Hercules lifters to evacuate some of our nationals in regions where the attacks was ongoing. |

Jacob zuma of zuma rock As far as i am concerned...the SA govt has not done enough to caution its citizens...recalling our ambassador is simply a way of saying "come and advise us on whether to evacuate our citizens or not and also advise us on whether the SA is deliberately being hostile to us or not so we know how to fully reply them" 18 Likes |

Obanikoro is the minister of foreign affairs in charge of Africa! I am not surprised about his handling of this. . a rogue will always be a rogue. Now that he has withdrawn the envoys, who will be there to see to the welfare of the Nigerians that are still there? Dumb move! The SA government just shaded us referring to the "outgoing government" and that they will discuss with the "new administration in a few weeks". . Kai! Shade!! ![]() ![]() ![]() 1 Like |
