I once read he is the most powerful governor and I thought it was a joke, now I have to agree. He is corrupt just like most Nigerians. He is better because he still has the mind of his people at heart. Take Saraki or T.Orji for instance? Those ones should be in the hottest part of hell

Regardless of the date it does'nt change the content. IBB stole billions 20 years ago the fact it wasnt recently doesnt change the fact he did.The video shows Akpabio bribing INEC official in Goverment house in 2011. The date the incident took place is immaterial. He was caught red-handed on video not even tape like the Ekiti rigging audio

Please don't take this as an insult but I am ashamed for you that one supposedly enlightened can table this thrash as evidence of rigging or corruption sef.

To be sincere, I am angry with me for wasting my time (about 25mts) watching this thing thinking the rigging would surface in the next minute. Na wa ooo. I don't get how people can just be talking anyhow without concrete evidence.

1. Who the hell are independent national observers? Who ever recognises them?

2. How on earth, even in a corruption saturated country like ours can mere observers rig an election? Observers oooo! Hian! We really have gone far if that be so.

3. I don't understand Ibibio well enough to make out what they were saying and the inscriptions were too tiny and the background/font almost invisible for one to read.

4. Anybody who visits any king/governor or anybody in authority for that matter, leaves with a gift. Even poor me will give you purewater or soft drink. How much more a governor as giving as Akpabio. Those men paid a courtesy visit and he spoke to them, even asked them why they didn't invite the press for the meeting, after seeing them, he hosted them by giving them money to share.

And you call it bribe? Chai! Dia rrriiiss Goddduuuooooo!

Last year, in one of my visits to the teaching hospital, we met Akpabio's convey at the gate leaving the hospital. When we got into the hospital, we heard and I saw patients who were so excited how that the governor came and even gave them money. For all the ones who were discharged that period, he paid their bills, some more, he gave cash. So many of them at the dialysis unit, he paid for their dialysis and gave cash too. That's the kind of person he is. He is a giver and it's just normal for we Nigerians to expect to be given cash when we meet people like them.

And as for Mandators, ask him to change that his phoney accent. It almost discouraged me from watching. tongue

I've very disapointed in your submission because you are blinded by corruption and see it as normal. Was it his father money he was sharing you know nothing about transparency with public funds and accountability.I've posted this video on nairaland, you're the first to turn a blind eye to the facts that took place.
Here's is a Governor sharing money to INEC officials in secrecy and you see nothing wrong with it,why did'nt he do it in the open if he was sure what he was doing was legal. You know nothing about accountability and how public funds are to be spent. Do you think David Cameron or Obama can go around dsihing money to people in the public, they can't because it's not their personal money.
I don't blame you it's the corrupt enviroment you're used to that has made you see black as white. Can you mention any western country where this will be tolerated, you know if he tried this in any developed country he will be spending many years behind bars.
I'm shocked by your submission it's people like you that make me lose hope in the country.

You sound so insulting and a pinch of bitterness. Take it easy on yourself bro. I have a mind of my own, I do not follow the herd for following sake. So, that you are getting a different submission for the first time, shows I am totally different. And puhlease, stop telling me what Cameron or the west would do, tell me what Tinubu, Oshiomole, Rochas Etal will do. These are politicians like him in the same field and I tell you that's what happens around here. You wanna condemn it, don't be blind to its happenings in every other place. If you pick him alone, it's called "badbelle".

And No! Those are mere OBSERVERS and NOT officials. It was reiterated severally there.

Stop hating. Akpabio is a performer. Before before, I didn't like him, now I have put him at par with his colleagues and I say again, he is a performer!

Far away in the continent of Asia, precisely
4,735 miles from Nigeria, in the city of
Chennai, India, a young Nigerian, a
pharmacist by training, ADEBOLA SAMUEL
AKINBOBOLA is fighting for his dear life in
the hospital bed at Annai Arul Hospital,
Chennai, India. When I saw my dear friend in
the Intensive Care Unit with his mouth
completely covered, I was filled with emotions.
Knowing fully well, that it can be me or
anyone in this world. Adebola was my
classmate and a colleague. However, more
than that, Samuel is someone’s son, sibling,
brother, uncle, cousin, fiancé, nephew, joy, and
hope.
He’s a Pharmacist who studied at Olabisi
Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital,
Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria. He went to India
last month to undergo surgical procedures to
remove the tumor in his jaw. On getting to
India, it was discovered that the growth had
developed into a full blown malignant
neoplasm (a tumour that tends to grow and
invade other parts of the body). He developed
the growth in his jaw in his 100 level days
(2006). He underwent the first stage of the
surgery last week. The surgery was successful
but suddenly the site started to develop
several complications. That procedure cost
about 5 million according to his parents. Now,
the tumor is threatening his life. He needs
about 13 million to begin the next phase of
the surgery.
The doctors at India have been trying their
best, however, they’ve also threatened to stop
palliative treatment if they don’t get the
money. Why we sincerely appreciate everyone
who had supported this clarion call to save
ADEBOLA AKINBOBOLA’s life, we found out
that our contribution so far was just a drop in
the ocean. Time is of essence, and delay is
quite dangerous, we need to act fast. We need
to reach philanthropists, Non-Government
Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations,
Foundations, States and Federal Government
to help us save Akinbobola’s life. We need to
keep spreading this news until it reaches the
decision makers and people with good hearts
that can afford to take care of the entire bills
or the majority of the bills............
