Halimi24:200 dead Igbos this night? When human beings are talking, ppl like U who get worse treatment when compared to cows come out to make noise too. A typical northern muslim girl is beneath a cow,she is sold in "marriage" to be continously defiled by her grandfather 's age mate as soon as she starts menstruating, she has no say in who to marry or not marry. See this child bride ooo. When some of us say all of U are boko haram, unintelligent ppl will accuse us generalising. Abeg,go open punny for ya papa age mate, time don reach. 1 Like |

I wonder why some people are saying they held Nigerian Army for 2 years. The Nigerian Army were looking at them as Nigerians hence their reason for trying to suppress them without much blood shed. Can't people remember that aids were sent to the Biafrans even during the said war? But when Awolowo went to convince Ojukwu to bring the war to an end, Awolowo noticed that the food meant to be given to the civilians were diverted to feed the soldiers alone, he said rather giving foods meant for the civilians to the soldiers that were killing our soldiers, then it should stop. Ojukwu also made the war look like religious war but the Vatican saw that Gowon was a Christian, they knew it was lie. With all these drama, did they really hold back Nigerian Soldiers? Nigerian army were holding back but when they saw Ojukwu's arrogance, they decided to unleash wrath on the Biafran soldiers. 5 Likes |

vickerz:How can you say yoruba girls are hot yet you rush to marry igbo girls? whose favours are you doing?? Well,we are ok with anything that entails corrupting the yoruba blood with igbo's thus making a hybrid less dirty, more docile and anti-yoruba than others...Talk about economic domination AND genotypical AND phenotypical domination of the igbos over the southwasterners. 1 Like |

Halimi24: Stupidiity is a terrible thing. Do you people think that if Ojukwu had caused the deaths of millions of Igbos for nothing, he would still be hailed as a hero today by the vast majority of Igbos? It was Nigeria that caused the death of millions not Ojukwu. Ojukwu simply led his people in a war to get their God given right to freedom. The same Ojukwu, went on numerous peace missions before and during the war and all he asked is for the world to ask eastern Nigerians, through a plebiscite or referendum, if they want to be Nigerian or not. Is it by force to be a Nigerian? It was Gowon and the Northern oligarchy in collaboration with Yorubas who caused the deaths of millions and every true discerning Igbo man or south-south man knows this. My brother, it is not by force to be a Nigerian. |

Confederacy and Secession were not in the agreement in 1957 when they were deliberating on the new republic (Nigeria)... Awolowo wanted that but Azikwe and majority of the house had their way. There should have been a clause that allows individual regions to break away if they are not happy BUT the clause was not included (Awolowo wanted a break away clause but it did NOT happen). chmod777: |

biafra all the time on nairaland..What do we gain self by invoking insult or calling another ethnic group a slave..the fact is the war was fought over 30yrs ago, we should forget about What happened in the past and learn the moral lesson n face the future.we come here and condemn xenophobia and yet we insult other ethnic group.. Nigeria is not the only country with over 250ethic group, other countries have more and they live peacefully.. I think the thing we should focus in is our economy our country and look at the meaningful development and the corruption going on,Look at the backwardness of our country, I've been to the north, south, west and east and yet we are still lacking..one question I want to ask u When did u see or hear obama or even Ghanaian president commissioning a road project or a borehole..It's Nigeria you would hear a governor after finishing is unmeritted tenure He would jump to the Senate or become a Godfather and start looking for successor or decamp into another party for further greener pasture .. this is very bad for our generation and our future,, I want to implore my igbo brothers to forget about the biafra and face the challenges there state are having and Nigeria as a whole.let love one another and forget about this ethnicity.let not orubebelize our country 1 Like |

Chai, Igbo people suffer sha. Tufiakwa. These guys were looking like they could hardly lift the sticks. All because of one man's ambition and lust for power. May we always try to resolve things through dialogue rather than wars. What a waste of handsome men, and waste of Nigeria's future. May we always apply wisdom so a few people do not ginger us to calamity 1 Like |
