See ehn, if I gather all the money I've spent on Earphones in the last 2 years into one Account, it'll be enough to buy me a brand new Range Rover HSE!

Ok, that's an exaggeration but it's very annoying when you spend between N200 and N1500 on a single Earphone only to see it spoil within a week or two.

There must be a reason why they don't last.

So guys what do you think?

Hmmmm.... I believe during my course of buying too many fakes, I must have bought at least one original.

its not ur fault tho, because gettin an original earphone in dis country is as hard as gettin a job. Even these top phone dealers in naija compromise their accessories.

Me too I'm confused, the rate @ which t spoils is alarming. Lik 2 to 3 days after buyng its spoilt already

You used those cheap earphones on laptops and PCs that's why. I bought about two and noticed both didn't even last for a week especially when used with a laptop/PCs. I ask an engineering student why and he said the frequency blahblah of computer is higher than blahblahblah...

thats Chinese goods for you..... poor quality, unreliable and expensive (if you have to buy earphones every months then you might as well buy the original quality ones).

op m in your shoes until I got a new gadget... since then I've been keeping my original earpiece.

One of my favourite that I bought last week Friday just got spoilt today. That was the last straw for me.

Bought an Earpod, lasted one week. Where did you get yours?

I bought an earphone and its still working till today!! About 6months now. I listen to music everyday. You should know that when you don't use the earphone, you don't need to squeeze it inside your pocket or roll it over your phone, it will get damage cos the wire inside is very frigille and tiny. The earphone should be kept hanging straight or just drop it. And I can recommend the lasting earphone (SONY) white. For the past five months its still working fine but just the white color has changed a little God knows lol

Microstation, make sure the seal of the pack is not broken, check d ear phone, there is always an inscription written on it. Assembled in china n sometimes vietnam, with serial no.

It's fake that's why it spoils easily.

I've used an original earpiece for over 1year.

There are many things involved too.

Maintenance too is there. If you don't maintain it well, it will spoil.

I actually maintained the original earpiece well that's why it served me that long.
