In any case, Nigerian Immigration will not issue another one now until less than 6months.
I had a new passport from their Ibadan office in November last year when the old one was to expire in Feb. 2015.You see it was possible bc it less than 6 months !
Except ofcouse you want to declare that you lost it with a court affidavit and proceed to Abuja for a new one which is uncalled for.
When you get to Canada after choping TRV, less that 6 months to the expiration Nigerian Immigration will issue you another one.
You will have to be carrying the 2 passport (old with TRV + NEW) together whenever you have to travel. The only inconvenience there
is that the passport office may not be close to your residency. That is all.

If I get the new passport...

will I have to submit all the document all over again to get an extension.. since am going for 2 years and I have assumed to be issue 9 months.

you can submit your passport like that, they are gonna give you maybe 9months visa, when you get over here, you can renew your passport at due time and update your visa.. its no problem at all. very best

Newbie here. Please, I'm about applying again for a Study Permit (First one was refused) and I need expert advice which I've been told I can get here. Short of it is, I'm being advised against seeking a refund for tuition I paid against summer term (May). Instead, I was advised to reapply for Fall (Sept) with a new letter of acceptance for that period. School is Humber, Global Biz Mgmt., PG.
N.B I also would like to get in touch with fellow applicants to Humber for Fall term.

You would have been within Canada, anything they ask, you will be able to provide.Simple.
The ultimate now is Choping the TRV
You may read back to last week with emphasis Don siga's post and justwise. You will see the hint there that it's not a big deal
as long as you are within Canada and act well ahead of a trip outside

As regards VFS office; take a bus going to Lekki-Ajah from either CMS or Obalende. Drop at Ikate roundabout. It is the 3rd roundabout if you start counting from the Tollgate. After you drop from the bus, cross carefully to the GTB decorated gate and enter the Ikate road. Look for a building called Manor House, it is on the left of the street.
