ok talking concise entry i sold EU @ 08076 dis morning with 10 pips stop loss ($1 a pip). Got to RR1:5 only to closed me at 16 pips cos i was looking at 4 hours to cash 100 more pips. Now I bought d nucca at 08555 sl 40 pips following 1 hour flow. what do u think?

LESSON: Exit is the most difficult aspect of trading. some trades will give me +100 pips & close me at 10.. may be I should stick to RR 1:1 or 1:2 instead of giving market pips.

One thing I notice about bringing SL to BE is that the market MOST of the time returns to pick the SL (by hook or crook ) before continuing in the original direction. So, I let my SL be wherever I place it until any of the following happens:
(a) TP is hit
(b) or the SL is hit
(c) or my indicator gives a contrary direction
(d) or when I run out of patience holding unto the trade.

Much actually, especially with my broker. I Was able to get to $70 from just $10 a while ago, so with $30, U do the maths.

"Especially with my broker" because they have segregated accounts; there's micro account for people with small funds where 30 pips with a full lot will translate to about $3, depending on the instrument and the spread.

Imagine U net 30+ pips per trade x 2 trades a day, U're closing each day with a net profit of at least 20%. That also means it will only take U a week to double your fund. Then, in a month your $30 will have become $120 minimum. So, do U now see the possibilities?

imagine on the day of swiss black thursday, i opened a position with $20 and leverage 1000:1... at the end of the day, 1 would have made $3,000-$4,000 [ EUR/CHF].

A housewife trading forex with $10,000 capital, hoping to just make little change, has no business taking high risk and hedged leverage, the 1% risk rule would be perfect. on the other hand, a young fin. student who also in a fin. analyst with a $2,000 account should aim to make infinty% returns; even if he/she truly knowd it is not rationally possible, he/she is prepared to maximize profit and hedge out losses. Forex like every other thing is relative.
