"For the period under review, NPDC made several payments to DPR based on self-estimated royalty. We traced several cash payments made by the company to CBN/ DPR JP Morgan account statement, to the tune of $839 million". - Page 29. Is it not an absurdity that it s NPDC that self-estimate royalty to remit to DPR? 1 Like |

PassingShot:let's be brutally honest with ourselves. The money allegedly missing is a whole lot of money that would have almost certainly found its way into the bank accounts of some of the APC members. Politicians regardless of their parties all share the common interest in looting Nation's wealth. I genuinely fear for the scapegoats though 1 Like |

IzonOwei: I do not support separation but true federalism. If we separate the war among the various tribes in the Niger Delta will be too difficult to contain. Trust me when that time comes the hidden animosity among the tribes will come out in the open. Or do you totally trust the romance across the east and the south now? The implosion will be of massive scale. First, we need good governance and gradually true and real federalism. You will be shocked all these monies reporting missing was guided into the pockets of non Niger Deltans with the approval of our SON and DAUGHTER with their share stashed far away. Nothing whatsoever was done by GEJ for the ND, yet lots of buffoons wants to kill everyone for them. We as Niger Deltans are supposed to lock both of them up after May 29th. 8 Likes 1 Share |

jaybee3: The fact is that GMB won the election partly on his promise to fight corruption. This case is a very good opportunity to prove that he meant that campaign promise and it affords him a good opportunity to endear himself more with the common man. Another truth is that if GMB cannot bring some of these looters to justice given what we know about him, there is no hope for Nigeria as I do not genuinely see anyone else who can. 3 Likes |

barcanista: Dude this is where you think people care. Look I supported APC through this last campaign but I don't care if 95% of them end up in jail if they're involved. Enough of this, we voted GMB for hope of a better Nigeria not for hope of a better APC. I could care less about members of APC 8 Likes |

![]() ![]() ![]() I can't even read anymore, these people have destroyed Nigeria, they have stolen our commonwealth. I don't even know where to start from, how can people steal this much and continue to steal, imagine a report of 12 months can be this depressing, how would 4 or 5 years audit look like. And to imagine all these monies are in dollars just rendered a severe headache on my brain. If GMB don't bring this people to book, I will forever curse him till I die. All these monies must be return and all of them punish. How can human be this evil, they can't even spend all the money in a life time, stealing for 10 generation yet unborn, and I'm here working hours to hours in foreign land. 4 Likes |

jaybee3: My error. I did not realise the forensic audit was ordered by our president after Sanusi had left to reveal to the public what was going on despite the senators having said nothing was wrong. http://www.punchng.com/news/sanusi-lied-about-49-8bn-missing-money-senate-committee/ Shows the greater TRANSPARENCY by our president, which is the basis for a SYSTEMATIC fight against corruption. 1 Like |
