The interesting thing about agitation is that anyone can come out and claim to be fighting for something. Let's assume that these groups are willing to pursue this demands to a fruition, what plans do they have to calm every ethnic group. The division is not just between Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo but also among all ethnic nationality. How do they plan to appease some ethnic nationalities who are grouped into south south region but absolutely trace their origin to another tribe. The igbo to some extent might not have significant traces of other tribes in their region but how do they plan to appease the Yoruba deltans, the itsekiris, the isans, and some other tribes that though are in the south south region but their root is from other tribes. This agitation is not one that will come easily without the split of blood. 1 Like |

Chukwugekwu: I am equally praying for that However, people like to eat their cake and still have it. These people are just looking for a war that ll be fought and fought and the result ll still be the same after millions of their beloved innocent brothers and sisters have been mercilessly killed(all the countries that have parted ways have never tour brotherly path of giving each other anything;land, sea etc and that wishful request has no UN or world power backing). The same people would like to secure their properties in the land of Hausas/Fulanis/Kanuris/Yorubas/Egberis and the rest while they are taking their own oil on their land. They talked about properties ownership whatever and guarantee scheme in a country that might certainly break apart out of bitterness, ethnic hatred and unpleasant past history. C'mon, stop looking for unnecessary war where there is none. It could be avoided unlike Biafra war if you take your oil and leave quietly. The partition btw Anambra and Kogi axis might lead to trouble but with some maturity at both sides, there shldn't be any war. Kwara State might cause problem btw Yoruba and Hausa/Fulanis but with maturity from both sides, they should be fine at the end of partition. This same applicable to SS/SE |

Let it surprise you to find out that im from Niger Delta...but I refuse to be clouded by sentiments. Has it ever crossed your mind that even if this country is divided, you will still have an internal problem in the divided Nigeria? The way Nigeria was structured was so that the south and north cannot do without each other. This perils of this country is as a result of the greed of a handful of politicians. babilicious: 1 Like |

FƠ̴̴̴̴͡я̲̅ instance, d govs, LG chairmen and councillors and legislators that have governed d SE and SS in d last 16years are not hausAs or yorubas. They are indigenes. What have thEy done with budgets and allocation in their care since 1999? handsometokunbo: Anambra dont have any problem with Kogi, Igala are welcomed to join us, likewise the idoma in Benue. As for properties in Lagos or Abuja, they remain our investment forever. There will be no war becos this group is observing all due processes to get Lower Niger out of Nigeria via UN route. South Cameroon left Nigeria via UN and we will leave too. benzion72: Presidency is nobody birth right, it will be rotated turn by turn to all the groups and locality when it gets to their turn, as we will focus less on state(small government) and more on business.(Big Businesses) Maximisation of all factors of production, to gain a high GDP and zero level of Unemployment as well as providing social care to vulnerable in society, social housing etc. We go still dey tough on immigration to deport any Abo.ki or Yorubas that over stay their welcome in our country.
