FighterPilot: The quote below equally exposes the lies you Southies help propagate by saying that our neighbours are doing all the fighting and is from your posted article; "Analysts say boastings from regional armies should be treated with caution, as the Islamists are far from defeated and can easily regroup, especially if there is a let-up in the military pressure." |

rka1: The problem is that you kicked the Chadian army out of your borders when they wanted to chase the rebels deep in your country knowing well that rebels fled somewhere they knew. What did you do when they requested permission? you kicked them out and told them the situation is under control and that you will manage to drive them out all alone. The insurgents did not wait for you to drive them out. They revisited Damasak when most people returned back thinking it was now safe. They were left all alone in mercy of Boko Haram since you kicked Chad out of your jurisdiction. The leadership in your military needs to be changed. It now good mews that the soon to leave, rotten political leadership has been changed, all that is now left is to reshuffle your current military generals. Your military is incapable. It does not care about the security of the people. |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by rka1: 9:28am On Apr 28, 2015 |
FighterPilot: You see how daft you are. The jurisdiction of the MNJTF was and is to secure the border regions and Towns near the border and hold on to them (including surrounding areas). They were not to take paparazzi with them to get glory. They shouldn't have left the towns as Nigerian troops were advancing from the South. The Chadians falsely told Nigerian troops that Dikwa was liberated only for Nigerian troops to walk into an ambush. The Chadians and friends were told to make their requests through the proper channels so the facts could be established. The Chadians kept going in and out of Damask without securing the surrounding area, hence BH kept returning. |

FighterPilot: It is untrue. Marte was never taken in the first place. http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/dhq-terrorists-sympathizers-fabricating-stories-to-discredit-military-success/207911/ "Similarly, he noted, the claim by some media organizations that terrorists chased out troops and took over Marte cannot be verified as troops were busy elsewhere during the said attack. However, he added, all efforts to track the terrorists who were reported to have attacked the town have not indicated their presence as claimed. He said: "Surveillance activities are however ongoing although there has been no indication of the large number of terrorists as being claimed in some reports attributed to anonymous sources. "The terrorist are certainly no longer capable of that level of coordinated action by thousands of terrorists as reported". |

rka1: That arrangement is very stup.id and it said to have been organised by the incompetent Nigerian military. What if the militants flee deeper into Nigeria? The MNJTF will not be allowed to go any deeper, isn't? so, the arrangement of responsibilities does not do MNJTF any good. Your military is lead by clueless leadership whose aim is only to protect their ego and have no interest to serve the people of Nigeria. |

rka1: If there is any man you should show the doors out of your military in order that your military should improve. That man is CHRIS OLUKULADE, he is full of lies and many a times his lies are brought out to the light for all to see. He is a very dishonest man same way as Jonathan wife when Boko Haram was busy slaying people she came out to tell the people that the news were fabricated. Let us bet that not long his lies will be exposed as always had and I will be there to remind you. |

agaugust: Nigeria has two upgraded Alpha jets Hawks can engage air-to-air targets with missiles and a connection to Link-ZA. While the a-darter has lock-on-after-launch, meaning that it can be dry-fired without any targeting info at all. Gilfino radar on the F-7 is from the 1980's SAAF has 18 Gripen aircrew and 52 Hawks aircrew. A-darter production starts this year - our supply will soon only be constrained by how many the production line can turn out per month. Your airforce is utter trash, the F-7 cannot be compared to the Gripen in the same way your old Alpha jets cannot be compared to the Hawk. 1 Like |

agaugust: 1. Gripen PS-05/A can detect ground targets at 120km? 2. What is a recon satelight? 3. What is Thales Sophie ground search radar? 4. Laser designation can be deployed from Sniper-Pods or by SF/SOF who have a long history of deploying deep behind enemy lines. Who says that you cannot see ground targets with Recce pods from high altitude? 100km bombs a waste of time? Are bridges mobile? Ammo dumps? Runways? Hangars? Controll towers? Motor-pools? Fuel Storage facilities? Ammo dumps? Power stations? Oil infrastructure? Clown |

agaugust: Still bragging about that one time when you posted a citation? See, for you its so rare that you somehow think posting a citation is a major acheivement!! Now, citations for alpha jets please. If Umbani is so easily defeated why are so many Militarys that are in every way superior to Nigeria purchasing them? |
Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by Patchesagain: 11:43am On Apr 28, 2015 |

Is that SANDF colour? |

Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by agaugust: 1:04pm On Apr 28, 2015 |
FighterPilot: You are posting a false report....now eat the humble pie " The reports by some media outfits claiming that terrorists are now in control of Mafa in Borno State are false. The truth is that an attempt by a group of fleeing terrorists who strayed towards the town and engaged in their typical suicide attack was duly repelled by troops. Similarly, the claim by some media organisations that terrorists chased out troops and took over Marte cannot be verified as troops were busy elsewhere during the said attack. However, all efforts to track the terrorists who were reported to have attacked the town have not indicated their presence as claimed. Surveillance activities are however ongoing although there has been no indication of the large number of terrorists as being claimed in some reports attributed to anonymous sources. The terrorist are certainly no longer capable of that level of coordinated action by thousands of terrorists as reported. Also, troops have not retreated from Sambisa forest as claimed by same sources. Rather, the operation is progressing and gaining increasing momentum towards clearing all terrorists hideouts in the forest. It is noteworthy that it is becoming common for stories of attacks on some remote settlements to be fabricated and attributed to anonymous or unidentifiable source in remote places. This is apparently the work of terrorists sympathisers or propagandists. Military operations to eliminate all terrorists hideouts are going on well and the terrorists are being seriously decimated. They will continue to be pursued and prevented from constituting danger to civilian population in their desperation for survival, suicide or publicity. The media is advised to ignore fabrication being churned out by some terrorists sympathizers trying to encourage the terrorists who are in disarray. The truth is that the operation to decimate them from Nigerian territories is progressing well. The military will not be dissuaded by the resurgence of false reports on the operations. The progress will be prosecuted as necessary." – See more at: http://defenceinfo.mil.ng/beware-terrorists-sympathisers-are-fabricating-stories-to-encourage-them/#sthash.VU0dZbUP.dpuf Nigeria has broken the backbone of Boko Haram.....only it's shadow remains. SANDF cannot even purge South Africa of mere Rhino Poachers . |
