@jamanuka, I have been following ur issue and am somwhat concerned abt ur case. The tin is i wud like to ask u, are still within the age bracket of 26? i.e are u now above 26 yrs of within 26yrs. coz age stuff might have caused them not to communicate u knowing well dat u wud av done well and qualify for d interview.

Mr Man, you have infinitely more chance of flossing the back teeth of the lion’s at Ibadan Zoo during food time, than you have of changing my mind about someone thinking himself young at 23. Its funny what our country has turned our youth into in these annoying times! angry

I think this is the worst PWC graduate recruitment thread in recent years. Incase you all don't know they would take as many as do well in Bankes words. IF you have taken your interview you have either been selected or dropped, if you take yours you would either be selected or dropped. Dey could pick 8 of 10 in a day they could pick 2 of 10. Why so secretive this year? One real person (BukAgb -God bless you) made an attempt to help and the' if I fail you fail vultures 'came for her. I have posted comments before that I didn't see kindly let this be.

Annoying part is those that always derail the purpose of the thread. We haven't collected work we are discussing salaries. Isn't there a thread for that. There are those of us that pretend to be happy with our jobs Yet we want to die here.

We have few days to bless one another. God bless us as we do so. undecided

@30watts that is life for you. I believe there are people that will still come and give important information that will be useful. When I do mine I will also bring new developments if any.

I just downloaded the pwc audit report and I went into gear 4 in preparing for the interview. If these are the kind of knowledge nd skills I stand to gain then I must wrk extra hard to bag the job.

Hey..I had my interview yesterday. I guess it went and d pwc staff are very pleasant.. first of all, I was asked to tell them about myself and why I think I have the skills to work at pwc.I was also asked questions about:
1.leadership roles- this included questions about my reaction to hypothetical scenarios where my group members refused to work.
2. Any topical issues except xenophobia grin , expect follow up questions on your topical issue
3. Time I faced an ethical threat with a friend and my reaction to such threat.
4. Some basic audit questions relating to sales cut off (guess I was asked this because of present place of work)
5. An accounting standard ( guess it's because I'm currently writing ACCA)
6. how I build and keep relationships with people

My advice is to take time to think about your answers so your answers make sense and if you don't know the answer to a question, don't be shy to say " I don't know".
The interviewers would see right through you. They are good like that..

I hope this is of some help to those yet to have their interviewers and best of luck to those yet to have interviews

I follow this thread, though I am not in this recruitment. When you were asked the question on accounting standard, was there a follow up question or you were required to just name a standard?

Broh.... the angelic BukAgb you're extolling, shebi she has deleted her NL account?? If she felt the way she went including the brouhaha that followed wasn't going to affect her in anyway whatsoever, would she have deleted it?? Everyone here including you are here to obtain an advantage. But i wouldn't support getting an advantage on someone else's perceived disadvantage. I was the first to call attention when i noticed BA had edited her post while the fellow who quoted her hadn't. I noted that for BA to have edited her post she must have been concerned about it or else she wouldn't. Obviously, she edited it late since she was quoted on the original post by euthopia. So i called euthopia's attention to it. When i however noticed that BA wasn't pushing the course i advocated for her, i quit! Why should i weep more than the bereaved?? Today, euthopia has modified that post and BA has deleted her account and reincarnated to someone else on NL. So man... quit the mind game and let people be! People are free to discuss whatever it is they want on this thread. It mustn't all be about interview! FYI, there are peeps here who would read and digest every single word about the interview who wouldn't still make it. Im not a prophet of doom. It is a fact! It happened in previous years! I do not wish anyone so! I myself could be among! So don't come here and berate people for not sharing an info you secretly long after in your heart while sugarcoating it with intentions of team spirit and camaraderie. For those who have shared info, thumbs up! For those who did not, thumbs up too! You did no wrong. Fellow hopefuls, whether you share info or not make sure you are following the dictates of your conscience. Never be boxed into opposing the dictates of your consciences. Jungle don mature and lion don dey use clipper. Wish everyone success in the interview.
