Hey guys. Considering how games on PC are getting bigger every year, anyone here know of any internet plans that offer unlimited downloads with download speeds of up to 1MBps?.... at affordable prices too

Its not the speed thats the problem, its the bandwidth allowance. Theres no point downloading at 1.5mb/s when they'll cut you off once you exceed 5gb. Or if you need to pay through your ynash just to download one game. Once your internet is fast enough to watch youtube without buffering, more speed becomes less useful.

I have so many games I own that I havent downloaded because I have to manage my download limit. Bought Arkham Origins recently: 17gb. I bought Battlefield 3 a few years ago and never finished downloading it because its 17gb. I got Dragon Age Origins for free:17gb. I bought Max Payne 3 this holiday sale: 33gb. GTA 5 is coming soon out: 65gb. Its only by stealing bandwidth at work that I manage to download the number of games I have.

Until we have an ISP that gives us reliable internet at an supra-youtube speed, with a generous bandwidth allowance and at an affordable price, Nigerians will keep complaining.

MTN? I rather spend the rest of my days offline. MTN are thieves and they are the worst of all the ISPs.

Hahha. unlimited at affordable .. so not possible. I wish cause my games are PC based too

See ehn, the matter ve tire me. All the ISPs in this country are swindling us out of our money. Imaging paying 5k for 5gig. When in USA u can pay the equivalent in dollars and get unlimited downloads at speeds of at least 2Mbps. Console users ve it easy coz they can get the DVDs easily but us PC gamers ve to rely on dloading them

internet cost has to be addressed in Nigeria. As this is a major limitation in gaming,playing online games with my pc is once in a blue moon except when i fall to the addiction and i feel the pain in my pocket later....cheats are nothing to write home about....anyway i hope there is change soon.

For a student, paying 5k every month to game online with my Smile is so daunting. Especially when i go as much as two days sometimes without internet access. Unfortunately the pple up there dont look like they are ready to change or even help us.....

I'm based in Nigeria, though I've been out of the country for the past 6 months or so b'cos of work. I mostly game on my laptop since I haven't had a regular place to lay my head since I traveled. I'm planning to build a nice new desktop when I get back though.

I was jumping between Swift and Spectranet before I traveled if that's why you're asking.

NEVER EVER trust MTN! I'm in the I.T department in my office. we roll on unlimited data but their yéyé network is damn slow ,it takes me a fortnight or three days to finish downloads. when you call, they tell you they are upgrading their system.

I visited Lagos, in the hotel while waiting for my friend I used their network to download a 2gb game and a few series movies of 250mb. -t wasn't up to 30minutes oh!

its not so hard but for a starter it might be hard...just open or run the x360ce.exe as admin. then configure you pad with it...e.g like the option of d-pad up click to reveal a sub menu,click on record den press the corresponding key on ur pad...then with time you would know how to set it up with diff games,i used x360ce on games lik...prototypr2,gta4,crysis3,black ops,splinter cell conviction and black list,Xmen wolverine origin,watch dogs,remember me,batman arkham origins,tomb raider,max payne 3,far cry 3,and many other games but am not into pc gaming anylonger i want to buy a ps4 console...i would help you upload a .ini file later with that uu dont need to configure the .exe again just download and paste the .ini file in the folder of the x360ce then copy all the files in the folder i.e the x360ce.exe,.ini files and all other file go and paste it at the same place ur xmen.exe file is possibly it would work if u do it right....different games work with diff compartibility.....if it works on xmen and doesnt work on another game search on google how to make it compartible with the game maybe you would need to edit you hook name and other shiii.....you would get along later but the x360ce work well and it really helped me in playing games...it makes controler vibrate sef

But in relation to ur question, HP pavilion dv6 comes to mind. 8gig ram, 3rd gen intel core i7,1TB HDD at 7200rpm, and nvidia geforce gt 650m. Its a fairly old lappy but its good. my friend uses one and he plays most current gen games on medium-high settings and HD resolutions. I think the gpu vram is about 2gig...

U can also take a look at Lenovo Y510p! The lappy comes wit a single or dual(SLI) Nvidia Geforce GT 750m wit up to 6gig vram 1TB hdd, win8.1, 8gig ram, i7, backlit keyboard. But no optical drive tho.

But if u can up ur budget to like 170-180, the Lenovo y50 is the best i'd recommend. 8gig ram, i7, FHD resolution, nvidia gtx 860m wit about 4-6 vram. 1TB hdd, win 8.1. Really nice PC.
