What Has Nairaland Turned To ? by bufness(m): 5:05am On Apr 29, 2015
Infact as I am writting this am really pissed off and angry right now, really what has this forum turn to? Is it that the moderators do not have idea of what topic to post online ?just today there was a thread about pleading for the lives of those to be excecuted in indonesia, instead of such threads to make front page, rather am seeing tonto dikeh and denrele ,do these topic add any impact to our lives, please am making an appeal to whom it may concern to make improvements on these great forum.
Thanks

Easy guy, this is a social platform. I hope you know what it means. Besides, every facet is duely covered so don't judge harshly just because it doesnt agree with your preferences.

Op i have observed the same thing too. I keep wondering why every toto dikey's topic is alwys a sure banker as far as front page is concern while some educative and informative thread never made it.

Sir bufness, are you aware that there are 1.4 million people using this Nairaland? The topics that interest you don't necessarily interest all the other users, so the home-page is an avenue to serve all classes of users.

Are you even aware that those 'Tonto threads' as you call it garner more attention than those you call 'value-adding'? This which practically means that if one set of threads should be wiped out for another set, your own 'value-adding' threads would be right to be wiped out. See how it sounds? smiley

Also remember that Nairaland, didn't anywhere promise to add any value to our lives. If you want value sir, I know good books you can read. smiley

seriously this is very suprising. My working mates wanted to join Nairaland becouse of the way they use to see me laughing and spending much time on nairaland, and i also told them the forum is very informative and educative

when they created account non of them is accesing nairaland again, becouse of some topics that use to make frontpage e.g Tonto Dikeh buys new bags, 2face chiling in Alaska, can you wear this type of shoe etc.

Based on what we now see on nairaland, i cant agure with anyone who said the forum is very childish and who are more concerned with the life of others.

really please i will appreciate the book
To the topic all am just saying is that the mods should limit the ammount of unneccessary stuffs that come on front page, imagine if that lives saving thread has been posted to th front page, the 1.4 million people accessing nairaland sseing it atleast over 500 thousand might have pleaded to the cause and perhaps it could have saved those lives....
