why else will i lie. Go to Kofar Wambai Market, on ibb way. Look by both right n left hand side. You will see shops bearing SIDI YUSUF AHLAN. Just tell them u want 3m strong or stronger dish.

@obynocute... Track with 12303H27500... Just make sure ur LNB is at 8oclock. Its slightly below DSTV & Joy TV. Then Blind scan. MBC shud b singing on ur screen.

Through your posts, I got myself a 1.8m pan, an SRT 4922D+. More interestingly, I was able to nail 5°E, 7°E, then 16°E and 17°E on one LNBF. I then moved on to Badr@26°E. I got a signal strength of 80% on 12303H27500 with my LNBF at 4oClock. I got MBCs quite alright but all were encrypted. Also the MBC frequency 12265H27500 is red. What can I do to hit green on that elusive TP? Thank you once again for making me an FTA hobist and I appreciate you all. Viva FTA!

Its 60k here in Jos.
It was 55k last year November.

i dont think one can get strong 3m pan dish.it is difficult to get except u order it directly from strong.but if u know where he can get it.give him d direction.where he can get it.

Dude it's very much available in naija soil, all he needed to do is to ask and he will be well directed.

just to let you know!The lnb feedhorn is convertible ..that is feedhorn was removed for prime focus but can be attached back for offset use..though inverto black works better on offset dish..

it didn't work i raise it above the feed assemble and it didn't work infarct i lost the signal,the problem is the lnb,if i can get a high gain lnb like inverto which will add 5% to my signal and thats all i will be fine.so for almost a year i Agkilis have been asking for inverto lnb and i have not been given,hmmm,i dont have words .am not happy i was promised this year g
January this year but this is April an am still looking for the same lnb is it that non of our great gurus can sell me this inverto lnb ?

i did that but the signal did not increase,the thing is this from my location you need a 3m dish to get that channel but with a good lnb and a 2.4m fiber dish you can hit that bird.odilibe has accepted to give me an inverto black altra quad lnb and thar will do the job and i will keep the house informed of my progress

Telstar 12 @15w doesn't seem to have a west nor east african beam. The closest is south africa. If you aim at the out of footprint european beam you may need a dish over 5M to track it. Besides there is nothing there that you can not get from other satellites like Hispasat, hotbird and even nilesat.

Select any satelite with C on it for example Intelsat 20C or NSS 12C. No need to be angry. Goodluck in your hunting.
