The Federal Government on Wednesday said it took exception to some of the terms of reference of the transition committee set up by the President-elect, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

Minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Sulaiman, disclosed this at the end of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.
Sulaiman, who is the chairman of the Technical Subcommittee of the outgoing government’s transition committee, said the council warned the incoming government against running a parallel government.
He said President Goodluck Jonathan’s magnanimity should not be taken as a sign or cowardice.

Magnamity in accepting you were thrashed and threw in the towel ? Or magnamity in accepting that the Job is way beyond your qualification and hand it over to someone with a better approach ?

The west recognises the fact that any further liaison with Jonathan is an exercise in futility and have decided not to waste their time fraternising with a govt that is as good as gone. Jonathan's handlers know better, they are just trying to create unnecessary drama.

Its really funny that even at the highest level of the government that these elements can't even hide their jealousy attitude toward GMB and they have to come out to embarrass themselves. O ga o.

I doubt if even GEJ himself is interested in his own activities again;so why the fuss about the all the attention GMB is getting?
He looks more presidential, talks and acts more presidential than GEJ and in just under a months time he would officially be president when he would annul many of the ill-conceived and doomed policies of the outgoing.
Its only a foolish man or govt that would still want to have any sort of dealing with GEJ, unless its for ulterior motives.

What is actually paining them is the decision of the South African Government not to hold any talks with the present Government but instead to wait until the next Government is in place.

The truth is that even the International community is eager to see this Government go, the next one month seems to be like a year in slow motion.
