UI may decide to use cutoff mark dis year

200 for uncompetitive courses

240 for competitive courses like MBBS

And varying cutoff for other courses.

It will probably reduce d number of candidates to 10k

I realize more dan 60% of those dat score above 200 scored within d range of 200-240.

Unless if UI as fully learnt dat jamb score is nt proportional to possible post utme score.

But I hope dey use cutoff mark because someone who scored 210 is more dangerous dan someone who scored 290.

this is just speculation. i bet it, it cannot happen now. go and read their requirement again...... the only thing i can say for certain is that - post utme cut off mark will be extremely high this year. all the top exigent course's cut off mark would not be less than 70.

exactly what's in my mind. UI will be strictly competitive this year in reference to the statistics. But my presumption is that she may use either of the three methods listed below.

1. Set cut off using jamb score as an eligibility for the invitation for the putme. Cut off might be pegged at 230-250 for competitive courses.

2. Use aggregate this time around. This emphatically means that every aspirant will be invited for the putme but admission will be strictly on aggregate which is done using the average of jamb and putme score.

3. Lastly, fall back to the use of call up point using o'level stuff.


But which ever way, my earnest prayer is that it favours I and others.

Don't forget Ui is no stable with their admission process....it has happened b4...2012 precisely..dey use jamb to invite candidates....so,let's watch ou this time!!...but I smell same tin bruv!!...d number is too high for UI
