Great Nairalanders I greet you all, I am a new intake nd I hope I get dis problem solved here. like seriously wen Ever I take my bath, I go almost die cos d kind scratching wet I go scracht my body I neva see am b4. pls if anyone has a cure or a way out, It is highly welcomed nd Wil be appreciated. OP I suffer from this also. It's called aquagenic pruritus. Stop bathing with sponge, and also start bathing wit hot water not warm o, nor go boil urself sha. My mom and brothers have d same issue. Doesn't matter if u bathe with antiseptic or if d water is the purest thing ever, I just scratch and scratch. It's bn onSince my secondary school days. I have learned to live with mine, cos doctors couldn't do much. Hot water or no sponge doesn't even work for me anymore but it works for my mom. Am really sorry about urs. Just try and Google it.
