I recently saw an update for my infinix hot but i read a thread here on nairaland about updating infinix to the latest software because the phone might end up been bricked. Please help..

If you have rooted your phone, try unrooting before trying the update.But if you haven't rooted it yet, then enjoy and upgrade

If your phone is not rooted you have Nothing to fear... even if it is, you have Nothing to fear.

I dont think it is.. Coz after i bought it, i started using it immediately.. I didnt root or give anyone to root for me.

well i didnt see much improvement in this new one,judginge by the pics

no 5.0.2 yet d rest are just regular thing

No it wont wipe it... Just use wifi..

I downloaded 89mb update.. I unroot... but after finish download... cwm didn't let it install... any way to uninstall cwm??

Oga, if your phone is rooted and cwm installed, find a way to revert everything back to stock before updating, else forget the update and move on, we would not want to see too much threads on stories that touch.

I didn't root my phone and no cwn installed..
