Someone said we are our own enemy in this thread and I totally agree with him. I wonder why we humans act the way we do. Sometyms I feel ashamed of my fellow tribe men (urhobos) cause greed and selfish interest has been their path since the days of Moses. take for instant the just concluded Governorship election where two Urhobos battling against one Delta Igbo. non refuse stepping down for the other so as to enable any of them win cause of greed. To add salt to injury many urhobo kings and elders sold their dignity and rights on daily basis, putting their people in poverty and suffering despite so many urhobo communities rich in crude oil. Now this. we are our own enemy.

GEJ was clueless regarding his belief that Fulani truly believe in one Naija - if there is no oil in N/delta and for Fulani access to seaport.

Above all, 12 northern states made a heavy statement when they adopted unconstitutional sharia criminal codes in 2000. They literally drew the borderlines of a new country in the north.

Early, the SW lost Speaker position, no thanks to Tinubu who used his ACN to ensure that Tambuwal from northwest emerged Speaker.

Subsequently, SW blackmailed Jonathan with all sorts of talks that Jonathan was marginalizing SW. From then Jonathan tried to placate the SW with goodies upon goodies even at the neglect of SS, even up till election time when Jonathan spread huge sums of money in the SW region for campaign. But at last, the SW made its allies and Jonathan lost in the SW, which led to his loss of the election.
The SW played their games well and it worked for them.

You do not understand "resource control" if you think that 13% is what that means.

If you were taxed at 87% and then given increments by way of things that you may or may not have asked, money that has to go throw another body to come to you in the way of provisions, would you be happy?

These economic vandals should be arrested and sent to kirikiri maximum prison for 3 years may be they will turn over a new leave. I grew up to know that you can not fight any Govt and win. That you don't even try to sabotage Govt properties or interest. These myopic boys shouldn't be treated with kid gloves. Their community leaders should be arrested to produce them. Instead of going to school to become somebody great in life they take pleasure in economic sabotage through their militancy attitudes. This nonsense must stop.

Which National Assembly to complain to? 60 Senators from 19 states + Abuja in the one time only ONE region north; but 51 Senators from the 17 states in the one time THREE regions south - that makes it impossible for any desire of the N/Delta people to be approved in the NASS.

Land Mass or population is never used to create federating units in any federal country, as used by northern military rulers to create states in Nigeria.

Imagine the state of California or Texas in the US, for example, getting divided by soldiers into many more states with many more legislators representing the areas in the US congress!!

the internet via www.radio biafra.co and through
other sites. or you can download tunein and
search for radio biafra. plans are in top gear to mount a relay station in bayelsa so that they too can be able to get radio biafra on their radio. they need to stop accepting crumbs from the zoo and demand for full independence

Combined force is better than fragments that a better way to win, this was what the Ibo man fore saw years back, Ojukwu was just a young connel maybe he would have done it better, but it was to stay away from things like this from happening other regions taking advantage of the east he fought for.......now its happening good we are all seeing it now.

Explain how it has been in the control of Niger deltans
13percent derivation formula or principle was formulated †☺ give succour †☺ oil mineral communities were d actual production is taking place and by so these communities usually bear d brunt of environmental degradation. D federal govt collects taxes and revenues 4 these activities. D states under which we have these communities gets 13percent of all these taxes and royalties on behalf of d communities. So d money is part of d states monthly revenue which is supposed †☺ b used strictly 4 devt purposes in these oil mineral producing communities. You are seriously lacking in thinking ability mr. man!

Do know that every problem cause by any tribes will be a localized hardship, thus may affect the whole country, but it the people the region where the problem originated that would suffer most.

Boko Haram insurgence has killed most northerner than people from other region of Nigeria?

Likewise, blowing up oil and gas pipelines will affect the local communities most on the long run because it is the soil (land), water and atmosphere that will suffer the environmental pollution.....

Just laugh at you people cause you lot lack understanding of using your enemies to you advantages..... You are only exposing yourself with all this....

There no solid evidences to suggest that GMB or APC is/are behind Boko Haram (supposed they are, why didn't GEJ do the duty of c in c and mobilize all resources of the state against them. (this enough reason to jail GEJ: "UNDERMINING NATIONAL SECURITY FOR SELFISH REASON))

On the other hand, any problem from N.Delta could easily be pin on GEJ because his govt. given them latitude to operate and stylish encourage them.....

AroOkigbo:
UGHELLI—AN Urhobo militant group, Urhobo Gbagbako, yesterday, claimed responsibility for two explosions that rocked two major gas trunklines belonging to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC, located on the boundaries of Afiesere and Ekredjebo communities and Otedo and Edjovwe communities both in Ughelli North and Ughelli South Local Government Areas of Delta State.

Urhobo Gbagbako, in a statement by its spokesperson, Priest Omodjuvwu, said that the explosions were in protest against those he called “traitors” the NPDC had continued to send to Urhoboland in a bid to manipulate their unsuspecting and once peaceful communities.
He said: “These petty crumb eaters can only cause pains to the NPDC, Shoreline and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in a promised sham settlement to the lingering crises to these companies and government agencies.
“In believing the empty promises of these evil doers and traitors, you continue to slowly drive your NPDC, NNPC and Shoreline into a certain abyss you will never recover from and we the Urhobo nation will continue to demand for our fair share of the pipeline surveillance contract jobs for the sake of equity and justice.

“We, Urhobo Gbagbako, a militia group of all ex-militants, youths, women and elders of Urhobo ethnic nationality, did not and have not given any individual or group, authority to speak on our behalf on any issue as it concerns the pipeline surveillance contract job.”

Confirming the incident, President General of Afiesere community, Mr. Emmanuel Shikaleke, said: “I was called by officials of NPDC, who had earlier come to assess the level of damage on the trunklines by the actions of the boys.

“For now, there is nothing we can do other leave the matter for the authorities to handle. As I speak with you, men of the Nigerian Army are at the scene to forestall further attack.”

www.vanguardngr.com/2015/04/urhobo-militant-group-blows-up-gas-trunklines-in-delta/

I have told Igbos here that there is nothing like Niger-delta. Niger-delta exists cos of Federal Allocation.

The biggest mistake of century would be a decision of bringing all the minor ethnic groups within Niger-Delta region together under one country. Nigeria problems ll be a child play to this Niger delta country problems .

Nigerians don't read history I presumed cos if they do, they won't even imagine it....
