chai!!! you beat me to it. Even project biro is still nothing more than a biro.

they operate obsolete tanks and maritime aircrafts

Are yet to pay up the loan for their frigates and subs

Can't afford to keep their pilots in the air

Can't afford fuel to keep flying their jets

More than half of their troops are half dead (AIDS)

Their soldiers are incapable of maintaining it's trucks without help from the Cuban army

Their Navy can't shoot straight...... the list is endless

maybe they think they've been arguing with Nigeriens. cos that's the military they should compare with

Did you hear about the bidders conference?

Project Hoefyster will soon deliver vehicles with missile capability anti-tank capability, gun capability, long range mortar capability and command post capability.

Project Assegai's short ranged air to air missile production was signed just a couple of months ago.

Next year you'll see more movement on maritime aircraft.

While some still go to back yards and garages.

Expect to see that one SAAF Rooivalk.

Upgraded to some crazy standard paving a way forward. Likely new avionics, goshhawk flir, rotors etc

Just like how you're now witnessing a dream of a new IFV becoming true! Spitting missiles and cannon shells.

The towns werent ceded by the government of the FRN to the terrorist forces of boko haram/Islamic State of West Africa in the first place.
BH temporarily encroached into those towns on illegal grounds to spread terror and propaganda, therefore we lost NO territory in the first place and hence,it would be an error to apply grave terms such as; "reclaim" or "recapture" to decribe such domestic criminal acts.

The SANDF cut down the number of tanks it has.

Why were you South Africans telling lies for the past 3 days claiming you have up to 266 units of Olifant tanks ?

If I did not probe further and quote 203 from defenceweb, you were inflating SANDF Olifant tanks from 203 to 266 and cutting down Nigerian T-72 tanks to 4 units !

See why I say South Africans are among the most fraudulent people on earth ?

Passive armor = composite

Stand-off armor = reactive

All Olfiant Mk1B have Composite and Reactive armor.
http://www.army-technology.com/projects/olifant/

177 Mk1B were produced - with composit and reactive armor
http://www.tanks-encyclopedia.com/coldwar/South_Africa/Olifant_MkI.php

These are simple facts. I am not debating with you on this topic because there is no debate.

Okay, Mr. Tanks Expert, you have accepted my correction, RHA is NOT Composite armour. I love your surrender grin grin

That encyclopaedia says Olifant Mk 1 B tanks have only RHA armour = ZERO composite armour !

44 units of Olifant tanks have composite armour....ONLY 44 units of Mk 1 B and Mk 2 mixed together.

"Olifant Mk.1B (Elephant) is upgraded variant of Olifant Mk.1A tank.. It entered service with South African National Defense Forces in 1991. About 44 vehicles were upgraded to the Mk.1B standard ."

58 T-72 M1 tanks from Czech

136 Vickers tanks

100 + T-55 tanks

16 AMX-30 tanks

Nigeria has over 300 tanks dude. SANDF has only 200.....your army has serious shortage of tanks. What will 200 tanks do for your land size ?

Qatar has confirmed they would sign up for 24 Rafale fighter jets, in a deal worth 3.6 billion Euros.

After a slow start, Rafale's Grim fortunes seem to have dramatically turned, with an order for 24 Jets from Egypt (most likely paid for by both Saudi-Arabia and Qatar), 36 jets for India, and 24 for Qatar.

However, for such a hefty price tag, i'm left wondering what actually this jets does.

What can this jet do that it requires €150 million a pop for a darn single unit.

The F/A18 Super Hornet costs $60 million a unit and is better than the Rafale.

The SU-30sm/SU-35 also costs $60 million per unit, and is also better than the Rafale.

So what sorcery does the Rafale perform that makes it cost almost 3 times the F/A-18 Super hornet/ Su-30sm/35?

Citation that Mk1B has composit and reactive order has been posted (many times)

Citation that the total production run for the Mk1B was 272 units has been posted many times

Your source is outlining the first batch (early 90s) of the production run which ended in the late 90s

There is no debate here. Facts are very clear.
