I would assume you mean 'liberates'.
The towns werent ceded by the government of the FRN to terrorist forces of boko haram/Islamic State in West Africa in the first place.
BH/ISWA temporarily encroached into those towns on illegal grounds to spread terror and propaganda, therefore we lost NO territory in the first place and hence,it would be an error to apply grave terms such as; "reclaim" or "recapture" to decribe such domestic criminal acts.

Qatar has confirmed they would sign up for 24 Rafale fighter jets, in a deal worth 3.6 billion Euros.

After a slow start, Rafale's Grim fortunes seem to have dramatically turned, with an order for 24 Jets from Egypt (most likely paid for by both Saudi-Arabia and Qatar), 36 jets for India, and 24 for Qatar.

However, for such a hefty price tag, i'm left wondering what actually this jets does.

What can this jet do that it requires €150 million a pop for a darn single unit.

The F/A18 Super Hornet costs $60 million a unit and is better than the Rafale.

The SU-30sm/SU-35 also costs $60 million per unit, and is also better than the Rafale.

So what sorcery does the Rafale perform that makes it cost almost 3 times the F/A-18 Super hornet/ Su-30sm/35?
I'd buy a Rafale over any jet right now.

Libya Magic!

Project Biro tender process closes June 30

Money has been budgeted in the next financial year for new MPA and transport

HIV rate in the SANDF is below 20% and HIV positive soldiers cannot be deployes in combat roles

Olifant is more than enough to handle current armored threats in southern africa

Germans accepted responsibility for shooting at the fisherman who

Cubans were drought in to do a task that the SANDF has never done

So i assume it is jealousy that has driven you to repeat these empty insults?
Healthy soldiers are deployed for peacekeeping missions regardless of their status.

Some armies doesn't even know about status of its soldiers!

Why were you South Africans telling lies for the past 3 days claiming you have up to 266 units of Olifant tanks ?

If I did not probe further and quote 203 from defenceweb, you were inflating SANDF Olifant tanks from 203 to 266 and cutting down Nigerian T-72 tanks to 4 units !

See why I say South Africans are among the most fraudulent people on earth ?

Dude have you ever heard of a thing called storage?

The concept of fusion

The same with the F35

Go look it up, some interesting stuff.

I've read about it, and nothing exciting about it. Both the F/A-18 Super hornet, SU-35/30sm, Eurofighter offer similar packages.

http://www.dassault-aviation.com/en/defense/rafale/the-sheer-power-of-multisensor-data-fusion/

It is not even an Air-superiority fighter like the F-22, Eurofighter or SU-35. It's tailored more towards ground attack first, then Air-Air combat.

There was no magic in Libya. The jets carried out routine missions any other jet can execute.

Nothing special.

The Rooivalk is an obsolete piece of junk, hence there are only 10 in service with the SAAF. The virtual french helicopter has been rejected by at-least 12 countries.

The UN needed more Helicopters in the AOR, because they wanted to speedily end the campaign against M23.

@Henry120
The Rafale can be considered a 'magic' combat aircraft due to its powerful capabilities in battle, western fighter jets are most renown for their superior radar capabilities and avionic configurations, moreso for the rafale which is a flying piece of technology that has held the gaze of the world with its extraordinary performances in modern warfare.
Naturally,a 4+ generation capable fighter jet with such a low quantity of production will be very expensive to purchase for any foreign nation.
Qatar may be going for the rafale due to the appealing prestige attached to it,but lets not forget that these countries all have ulterior motives to their seemingly wasteful actions, many eastern nations are eyeing the delicious prospect of acquiring tech transfer for the indigenous production of the rafale, while some are even scrambling to acquire extremely ambitious military tech such as nuclear submarines and ICBM technology from france, such nations are willing to pay any amount to realize their quest.

What ever dude, the Rooivalk was called in because the Mi 35s couldn't ID the enemy due to bad weather, and guess what ? the Rooivalk could ID the enemy and bombed the M23 into extinction.

And BTW your opinion don't matter bro!!

Dude reserve and storage are two different things!!Tanks in the reserve are still maintained and kept running, they are used by the reserve force, tanks in storage are not used or maintained and thus would need extra maintenance to get them running again.

Do you know that most Nigerians have HIV unknowingly because they do not go for routine HIV voluntary testing and counselling. Do you know that most Nigerians currently die of AIDS than in any country? This could be caused among others by poor ARV management programme, poor campaign and lack of voluntary testing.

Nope MI35s couldn't ID the enemy targets due to bad weather, thus the Rooivalks were called in.
